| Drummers Suck
Not really. First of all im a guitarist, but some of these drummers interest me for reasons listed below. | 1 | Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys)
I just find his beats fairly interesting. His by no means my favourite (this list ain't in order) but every now and then i find myself saying 'oh that was kinda cool' when i listen to the band. | 2 | Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden)
Very talented, excellent live and uses all his kit | 3 | Tre' Cool (Green Day)
Expands from the usual simple beats and does some interesting stuff. | 4 | Matt Sorum (Guns n Roses/Velvert Revolver)
His by no means amazing, but kind of good to watch live and rocks out. | 5 | Lars Ulrich (Metallica)
Knock all you want but Death Magnetic had some catchy beats, and for the simple double kicks in one, he makes my list. | 6 | John Bonham ( Led Zeppelin)
Archilles Last Stand, Nuff' Said | 7 | Scott Travis (Judas Priest)
Joined the band in the early 90's and gave them a much needed edge. The Painkiller album and the song machine man, show the guys talents. (He was also in Racer X) | 8 | Andy Strachen (The Living End)
again, not the most amazing out there, however i really took notice of some of his drumming on the latest album. TLE's old drummer was kinda cool too. | 9 | Keith Moon (The Who)
He Blew up his kit at the end of gigs, that gets my vote! | 10 | Tommy Lee (Motley Crue)
His simple pounding technique as shown on the shout at the devil album interests me and i just like the sound he gets. | 11 | Dominic Howard (Muse)
This guy has put down some killer beats and just seems to keep getting better. | 12 | Dave Grohl (Nirvana, lots of other stuff)
Sure his mainstream but the guy can play. Check out 'song for the dead' for my all time favourite drumming. | 13 | Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
again, his just one of the drummers who have put down some funky beats for me to enjoy. | |

12.08.08 | GAH! i wrote length reasons for including them and they arent here!
now im gonna get stacks of 'generic' comments because people haven't seen my reasoning :( btw list is in no order at all | taylormemer
12.08.08 | Most of the comment will be about how the list is pretty meh. | McP3000
12.08.08 | no one here is any good except for 13, who is just in a bad band | JumpTheF**kUp
12.08.08 | never seen these artists before on an ironpriest list o_O | Phantom
12.08.08 | ^^^^^^^^^ This. Pretty much all of these drummers are meh. | OllieS
12.08.08 | people need to learn their drummers. 2, 7, 9, 10 and 12 rule | foreverendeared
12.08.08 | if by "rule" you mean "suck," then yes, those drummers do "rule" | Poet
12.08.08 | LARS IS RULE. | Bfhurricane
12.08.08 | Good list in general. I'd have Mike Portnoy on here | RandMcNally
12.08.08 | These guys are not good drummers, average at best. For a sick drummer, look no further than Chris Pennie (Dillinger-era) or the drummers from Messuggah or Converge! | south_of_heaven 11
12.08.08 | Nicko is a great drummer stfu you tools | bastard
12.08.08 | 4 and 5 are both laughable and overrated. | AndManyMore
12.08.08 | /blake richardson? (btbam) | PigDestroyer89
12.08.08 | list is very lol | Eakflanderyof
12.08.08 | You're right drummers do suck. Well, at least judging by 90% of this list one would think so. | bren732
12.08.08 | Nicko McBrain, John Bonham, and Scott Travis are sick drummers. Tommy Lee is a tad overrated IMO. Good list, but you forgot Dave Lombardo, lol. | AmericnZero02
12.08.08 | Keith Moon makes this list automatically a success. | withintention
12.08.08 | needs thrice drummer | OllieS
12.09.08 | Lol at people saying John Bohnam and Keith Moon suck. I guess not being able to play at 200+ bpm and do ridiculously technical time changes means you're a bad drummer | TheyTookOurJobs
01.09.09 | wheres dave lombardo? | inflames666
02.11.09 | yea this list is pretty generic....lars fuckin sucks, im glad you have nicko on here to counteract that POS |
