But that is because it was released as a single early in the year, and I had it added to numerous playlists throughout the year. I generally don't just listen to songs. I either listen to an album on full, or make a playlist and listen to it on shuffle.

alamo 12.01.21	usually my top 25 songs get 50-90 scrobbles each and the top 50 through 26 get 30-50 scrobbles i tend to listen to full albums once and save the songs i like most (unless i love everything lol)

Most people that don't listen to many bands, genres, etc will end up checking a song they like tons of times, simply because they don't listen to many songs in the first place If you're more into music and tend to check more stuff then you don't have the need to come back to a song you like that quickly

rabidfish 12.01.21	my most played song is Drama by Erika de Casier at 27 plays. But my top 5 songs of the year are all from the same album. I think it's because i'm more of a full album person. So that means i probably played Sensational at least 25 times in its entirety.

Colton 12.01.21	your argument makes no sense. how does having a high number of plays for specific bands or songs mean someone is boring or has no interests outside of music? for one, if music is your only hobby it's a pretty solid hobby. but you can also listen to music while doing countless other things. like working out, writing, doing art of some kind, building things, etc. or maybe people just listen to a lot of music at work or while studying. and how would the number of plays people have for a certain band or song determine that anyway? shouldn't it be based off the total amount of music you listen to? i pretty much only listen to music when I'm either on my way to work, on my way back from work, on my way to the gym, at the gym, on my way home from the gym, or walking my dog. adds up to like 4 hours a day. if you can only listen to your favourite song like 15 times in a year I would question how much you even like music tbh
