10.23.21 | @Cotton , I haven't heard that Trivium or Cradle yet, but for what's on this list I'd say Colors II has my vote so far among these, and I'm slightly optimistic about Mastodon. From how it's looking, it's probably going to be EoS mixed with Cold Dark Place but it could be a crowd favorite that might hold a lot of voting power come year end.
But agreed, I'm not sure I really expected half of these bands to still be putting out, let alone how many of them are being well received by fans. |

Demonic Wealth is definitely focused more on synths/atmosphere/experimentation compared to the more direct (for Krallice...) riffs and energy on Mass Cathexis.
It's not a done deal that you'll like the new one if MC was your thing - but definitely check it out. I love both! |
