@relinquished: the respect part you talk about is part of the reason why i'm stepping up to be a teacher. i'm not seeing too many role models as educators, or at least compassionate or understanding of what some of these kids go through. i agree a lot of them need to be vetted, but then again i've met a lot of good teachers, especially in the field i work in, special education.
and hell yeah, you should be hard on teachers, gotta make sure they're actually doing their jobs sometimes. |
