Haven't been in much of a BM mood this year really but I do need to check Phase Out at some point, given it's... not exactly conventional. Plus it's Cara Neir and they're great. | Coast

09.17.21 | @Arch - yes, I would highly recommend Phase Out, ESPECIALLY if that's the way you're feeling towards black metal this year.
@Coast - I also prefer his earlier era but the new album's production really hinders my enjoyment of it. I love bad black metal production as much as the next guy, but in this case, it's masking too much of what's going on and Panopticon has always thrived on those little intricacies.
