08.09.21 | For me, Busdriver’s “self absorption” is the magic of his whole output - and with the previous record, Perfect Hair, he struck the balance between an over-curated (tacky?) self awareness and a fluid expression of lived intuition really effectively.
Electricity has higher highs, but even lower lows in the same respect. I return to this one more though.
With all that said, I think he’s a unique hip hop artist - worth hearing. |
