Arch mEnemy Ranked
1Arch Enemy
Burning Bridges

Without a doubt their best record and a pinnacle of melodic death metal.
2Arch Enemy
Anthems of Rebellion

I can openly admit that objectively speaking, this album doesn't really belong here, but I don't care.
3Arch Enemy
Stigmata

Liiva's vocals are *fine* here but they don't really do the music justice. That being said, this bangs and Sinister Mephisto alone secures the bag here.
4Arch Enemy
War Eternal

Another unpopular opinion pick, but this is the most "death metal" they've sounded since the Liiva era. I think the new blood also had them at their most inspired since Angela's first two as well.
5Arch Enemy
Black Earth

Very respectable debut, maybe just a bit too scattered and Liiva's vocals aren't great.
6Arch Enemy
Wages of Sin

I think this is the record that most would consider to Angela's peak with the band. Close, but no cigar. First four songs constitute as one of the best runs in their discog though.
7Arch Enemy
Doomsday Machine

The first record on the list where my feelings are more mixed than positive. My memories with this album are often associated with being a teenage metalhead in the mid-2000's and enjoying the small metal renaissance that occurred from like 2002-2009. Listening now, there are definitely some glaring weaknesses but almost can't deny that there's some heat here too.
8Arch Enemy
Rise of the Tyrant

No comment on this really, it's *fine*. A few songs have stuck with me over the years.
9Arch Enemy
Khaos Legions

When I tell you there is no album in existence more forgettable than this, I am not lying. Does anyone remember this record? Quick, name me a song.
10Arch Enemy
Will to Power

Unmitigated garbage.
