Good Christian Music I've Been Listening To

Some current digs--stuff both theologically and musically rich
1Kings Kaleidoscope
Becoming Who We Are

Scriptural & worshipful; multi-instrumental; all their other albums are also great
2Dustin Kensrue
The Water and the Blood

Straightforward rock; worshipful
3My Epic
Yet

Really deep thought-provoking lyrics; lots of passion; all their stuff is good
4Least of These
Change Will Come

Sounds identical to Come Now Sleep at times (I know a lot of people make that comparison); I much prefer these lyrics because they are more gospel-hope focused whereas Come Now Sleep was doubt-focused
5John Mark McMillan
Economy

Americana rock stuff; lots of gospel content but nice metaphors; liked it a lot more than I thought I would
6Chris Renzema
Let The Ground Rest

Singer-songwriter; love his voice; relatable lyrics
7Pacific Gold
Sing My Welcome Home

Super unique for an explicitly Christian band; psychedelic-pop stuff with nice variety and lyrics
8Ascend The Hill
O Ransomed Son

Rock; need to listen to this more
9Josh Garrels
Chrysaline

Singer-songwriter; nice voice; need to listen to more
10Sons
Keep Quiet

Alt-rock; need to listen to this more
11John Van Deusen
(I Am) Origami Pt. 2 Every Power Wide Awake

Singer-songwriter; interesting and varying song style and structure
12Citizens and Saints
Citizens

Theologically on-point!
13Ghost Ship (USA-WA)
The Good King

Little bit more uneven but worshipful indie rock
14Gungor
Ghosts Upon the Earth

Im kinda theologically uncertain about these guys but some seriously breathtaking arrangements ("The Earth is Yours")
