North0House2 02.18.21	this thing sucks. I had a pretty chill case too, and still it's been like a week of me basically just sleeping and staring at the wall. I finally feel sort of human again today so hopefully I'm on the mend.

Lord(e)Po)))ts 02.18.21	I'm glad to have "free" healthcare as the American alternative sounds like an even bigger nightmare for the middle and lower class, but I very much agree that our Healthcare system is absolutely fucked and also in times like this I would love to have a government with a fucking spine. That being said I am very grateful for CERB and all the other assistance programs we have had through this.
Gyromania 02.18.21	I hear a lot of people got screwed through CERB. My sister got it and she's on ODSP (Ontario disability (she works full time, just stays on it for the benefits/safety net)). After speaking with government officials she found out she was eligible for it. Now she owes the government $2000. Moreover, her and her boyfriend waited 2 and a half months for EI to kick in, which is just an embarrassing failure of our government in the midst of a (at the time) lockdown. And yeah def preferable to America's healthcare in many ways, but I guess if you're rich in America you'd get results day 1 as opposed to waiting years here. If I have cancer or some shit I'll prob be dead by the time I get results
Lord(e)Po)))ts 02.18.21	Last I read most people that were wrongly granted cerb due to the government being illiterate won't actually have to pay it back now. And on the flip side of that a lot of people fully just took advantage of CERB and other programs and knowingly took the money when they were ineligible and didn't need it unfortunately. And yeah the wait times have been bad as things have been clogged up but I've been reading about getting on EI in the states during all this and it hasn't been any better apparently.
