SitarHero 02.03.21	No way in hell were Durant, Giannis or Kawhi ever going to win the MVP this season. Not even if their teams went undefeated. The only real contenders are Lebron, Embiid, and Jokic, probably in that order right now, and will probably depend on whose team ends at the top of the standings.

AlexKzillion 02.03.21	Sorta unrelated but what do you guys think of the Jazz? I've read a lot about the "beautiful basketball" Spurs of the early 2010s and can't help but think I'm watching something close to that with the Jazz right now. There's no true superstar on the Jazz and every individual player has a serious flaw or two, but they are so insanely in sync as a unit that I half-seriously think they could be a threat to the Clippers and Lakers in the playoffs if they keep this up.

SitarHero 02.03.21	I think Jokic is the most deserving right now. He's doing everything on a weakened Nuggets team. The only strike against him is the Nuggets record, otherwise he would've been the clear favourite imo. Luka might still make a push, but so far he and the Mavs haven't made the jump everyone thought they would.

But yeah looking like he'll replace AD at least. Just sorta annoying to see a dude basically not make it because the west is stacked, when he would've made it in the east pretty easily.

Not sure that CP3 was worthy of a selection this year but it seems like he got grandfathered in. Stoked to see Randle get a pick though. He's been a monster this year.

AlexKzillion 02.24.21	Nah Simmons def belongs on the all star team. Averaging 16/8/8 on the no.1 east team and is arguably the best perimeter defender in the league. And in terms of Randle, LaVine, and Vucevic... they are putting up great numbers and are by far the biggest reason their teams are in the positions they are in. LaVine and Vuc in particular are basically the ONLY good players on their teams and they're somehow in the playoff hunt. Pacers are just way deeper and less reliant on Sabonis. I don't think it's a complete crime Sabonis didn't make it tbh. If any dude in the East got snubbed I'd say it was Khris Middleton and his 20/6/6 on a hilarious 53/43/89 shooting split.
