01.08.21 | Chrono Trigger, FF7, and FF6 are my three favorite games of all time. Shout out to Thousand Year Door too man that game is def in my top ten, and I absolutely adore Superstar Saga |

01.09.21 | Chrono Trigger is the bestest
I also love Mario RPG. I imagine none of the Paper Mario/Mario and Luigi games would exist without it, so there's also that
FFIX has been my fave FF for quite some time right along with VI. I haven't played an actual FF game since prolly 13, tho. I've thought about getting IX again off PSN but always thought it was kinda spensive for how old it is and how many diff formats it has been available on |

01.09.21 | Great list! 6, 7 and 4 are my favorites. Recently beat 9 for first time and I had a lot of complaints. Still an excellent game but its not one of my favorites. |

01.09.21 | Not sure if you mean PS3 PSN, but if you have PS4 there's an HD version for 7,8,9 with special options, including speeding up battles, as well as Trophies |

01.09.21 | "I've thought about getting IX again off PSN but always thought it was kinda spensive for how old it is and how many diff formats it has been available on"
They are charging more than they should, but FF7 and 9 are some of my favorite games and i dont have a ps1, and even if i did my tv would probably have that lag you sometimes get when playing old games on a new tv. So i bought em. My favorite thing about these versions is the ability to fast forward, like with Sephiroth's Supernova attack. Makes the games more enjoyable tbh.
Edit: oh didnt see your next comment. The fuck, they were 20 bucks each when i bought them. |
Cygnatti
01.09.21 | I love all of them (first [x] amount of the main series games), but FF1 is prob my personal favorite tho. |
Deathconscious
01.09.21 | Any thoughts on FF8? I played it a little a long time ago after beating FF7 and didnt give it a fair chance, i was young and just wanted more 7. But the whole level scaling system and whatnot sounds really fuckin dumb to me, not sure if i want to spend the 20. |
Cygnatti
01.09.21 | 8 is a... good game. But there are just some seriously questionable design choices. Really, really grindy, some of the UI is not very efficient (this matters a lot, trust me), and also at high level play, magic is often very counterproductive. Very frustrating really, but it's still very enjoyable on a more casual level. |
Pikazilla
01.09.21 | Not big on FF 9, but good ranking nonetheless. FF 10 had a pretty good story and cool bosses but goddamn, that character-levelling system was obnoxious af.
FF 6 and 7 will remain classic jrpgs in my heart forever. You should play the first three Breath of Fire games if you haven't already. They are awesome. |
Ecnalzen
01.09.21 | Oh, IX is a part of that holiday/end of year sale. 50% off $20 so I might actually get it. I was curious if they did anything besides give it an HD sheen, so that's cool. Might actually be worth it then
I actually have a Ps1 copy of the game (ps1/2 don't work anymore but have a ps3 still) but I bet it would look like absolute ass trying to play the original without some kind of HD pick me up or remaster |
Veldin
01.09.21 | In regards to 8, it really is a good game, but it might be worth doing a small amount of research to grasp all the new game mechanics, because it is very different than its successor or predecessor in that regard. I believe the HD version helps alleviate a lot of headache with grinding and those remastered character models, hot damn! |
Ecnalzen
01.09.21 | I always kinda disliked FF8. I remember I felt like the characters were useless without their GFs, when they were summoning or whatever, and that always annoyed me. The lvl scaling and not being able to grind to be more powerful than enemies when you were in a rough patch sucked, too, and I want to say I thought the magic/draw system was stupid, too. I think the storyline was interesting and the only reason I finished it, but it's been so long. I remember Squall was super moody like Cloud was, tho, lol
FF7 wasn't my first rpg by a long shot so I don't think my dislike of 8 was wanting more of 7. I don't quite hold 7 in as high as regard as a lot of ppl do, but it seems like the ppl that love it extra much had it as their first in the genre but I don't know if that's always the case
Oh man, I friggin love BoF III/IV, but I don't think I ever got to play the first two. Kinda hated what they did with V and the whole starting over if you died to keep all your exp/items or something like that |
Cygnatti
01.09.21 | ^oh wow, I don't have the HD version, what changes are there? |
Veldin
01.09.21 | Other than improved character models and resolution, "With a click of the analogue sticks you can speed the game up by 3x, turn off random encounters, or even increase HP and limit breaks", similar to the HD remasters of 7 and 9 that came previously. Game still isn't perfect by any means, but these additions can make it less grueling so you can enjoy the world, story and characters. |
Pikazilla
01.09.21 | I hated the story in BoF IV, but everything else about it was awesome. BoF II is probably the best in the series, definitely play it when you get the chance. Great branching storyline, classic turn-based jrpg combat, cool locations... what a game. |
Deathconscious
01.09.21 | Breath of Fire is on my long list of RPGs to play. |
Deathconscious
01.09.21 | "I remember Squall was super moody like Cloud was, tho, lol"
Idk why people always say this about Cloud, he really wasnt that moody. Like he had a mental breakdown when his identity was shattered, but before that he was all cocky and too cool for school. After that we see him being goofy to cheer up Tifa and being optimistic about the seemingly impossible odds and so on. |
cold
01.09.21 | Phantasy Star 4. Can't knock those Genesis RPG's |
Veldin
01.09.21 | Totally agree that Cloud is 2cool>emo. Remake does a good job, I think, of portraying his cockiness and more playful side. And even when he is cold and moody, when you find out his...backstory, you realize that his demeanor makes sense and isn't just for dramatic broods, which Squall is, which is fine, because FF8 was more of a emotional and romantic game. |
Deathconscious
01.09.21 | Unfortunately i have to disagree on the remake, i think he came off as a socially awkward dork as opposed to the cool nonchalant badass hes supposed to be. Like the high five thing, he couldve just given her a look and walked away, but instead he looks at his hand and makes those dumb anime grunt/sigh noise things as if he doesnt know what a high five is or something. Plus the voice acting didnt help. Like when he was supposed to say something tough, it was kind of funny. He just doesnt have the voice for it. Cloud did seem like an emo moody boi to me in the remake.
It probably sounds like i didnt like the remake lol, i did, despite the complaints i have. |
Ecnalzen
01.09.21 | I will have to try to get an emulator or something of BoF II. I don't really remember much about the storylines in either BoF III/IV besides dragon boy and princess meet and fight stuff while going on adventures
That's fair. Cloud had an actual reason to be like that for a chunk of the game, whereas Squall was just pretty much a sad boi the whole time from the get go |

01.09.21 | Yeet, good list. Chrono Trigger is my fav RPG. Want to play Chrono Cross, once I find a good platform I will. Playing Super Mario RPG rn, it’s alright. I can see why it made waves, but it’s spiritual successors like Super Star Saga and Paper Mario are better to me.
If you haven’t played Final Fantasy Tactics, I’d check that out! |

01.09.21 | Cloud is much more relatable in the OG FF7, they started making him emo as hell with Crisis Core and Advent Children. |

01.09.21 | Some of FFX hasn’t aged well, but from an aesthetics POV it might be my favorite... |
Ecnalzen
01.09.21 | Chrono Cross is super cool but doesn't quite hit the highs of CT, but I still really enjoyed it. I think the score to CC is even better than CT. I always thought of it as more of a spiritual than direct sequel, like in the same universe, but they do reference the original in several ways, and include some of the original characters in the storyline. You don't get to play as any of them, except for Glenn, who could be thought of as Frog from the original, but they never come out and say it
The main diff is instead of time travel, you are traveling between parallel dimensions, and there is like 40 plus characters you can recruit depending on your actions and decisions, but you can only have 3 in your fighting party at a time. Still has the new game + and multiple endings, so that was fun to find all those
Tactics was super fun. My goodness what a convoluted story line it had, tho, ha. I don't think I ever truly understood what was going on in that game
I also really enjoyed what I played of the Dragon Warrior/Quest games. VIII from the Ps2 is a particular favorite of mine |

Not turn based rpg, but still FF related; did any of you play the Vincent based 3rd person shooter they did when they were all about the FF7 offshoots and side projects? I remember actually liking it a fair amount

I mean he's already living a lie so why not perpetuate the idea that you're cooler than you actually are. (Btw I was referring to everything that occurred before he even reaches Midgar, because things only get much worse) |

01.09.21 | What do y'all think about FF15? I beat it when it first came out and was disappointed with the ending. They've apparently since fixed a lot of things with patches and DLC, not that that justifies an unfinished product, but it's no secret the game wasn't extremely rushed in its final stages. Other than new quests, bosses and outfits, they've added an expanded ending, the ability to control your teammates (yes!), first person mode, 4 story dlcs, and off-road driving. Again, im not supporting this business model of putting important story content behind paywalls, but I am willing to play thru the game again, perhaps on PS5, to try to get the full experience Nomura/Tabata intended. |
Deathconscious
01.09.21 | "did any of you play the Vincent based 3rd person shooter they did when they were all about the FF7 offshoots and side projects?"
I havent played anything ff7 related other than the remake, im a bit of a purist. I think the story ended with the original because *HUGE SPOILER IF YOU HAVENT PLAYED FF7 YET* i think holy wiped out humanity at the end of the original game. the lead director or whatever his title was even said humanity was destroyed at the end, so it doesnt make sense to me that everyone is still around. And i know crisis core was set before ff7 but its different people working on it and im afraid it wont fit in with the vision the creators of the original had. I can accept the remake because they did the whole parallel universe thing. Fuck Advent Children though.
Lol sorry im such a wet blanket on everything ff7 related, if people like the spinoff stuff thats great, im envious. |
Deathconscious
01.09.21 | @veldin im interested in giving it a try, it sounds like it was pretty shit before all the add-ons but some people think it feels complete now. 01.09.21 | I haven't touched 15 yet. I have it just haven't got around to it. That sucks they did all that, tho. I can't remember if my version is just the core game or not
I enjoyed my time with 13 and Lightnings angry ass. I liked how much it opened up right before the game was over. Had a lot of fun running around all that new territory and thought the storyline was driving and interesting enough to take me thru the linear sections
I played some of 13-2 but never finished it. It seemed pretty fun but I got distracted or something and never went back to it |
Ecnalzen
01.09.21 | Well, it has def been a minute since I beat 7, but I thought holy was only summoned to destroy Seph's Meteor. I don't remember anything about it wiping out humanity |
Veldin
01.09.21 | It did not wipe out humanity. It destroyed a lot but there were certainly survivors. Idk if this if this is in base game, but Advent children had people infected with geostigma due to the destruction. |
Veldin
01.09.21 | Ecnalzen- unfortunately, which is one of the main issues with the FF15 fixes, is that it isn't free. If you own the original, you have to get the Royal pack or royal edition. Now you'd think since you have the base game you could just buy the pack and be good, but alas, you'd still be missing the season pass content, which is the 3 expansions. Now you might be thinking to yourself, but wasn't there 4 dlcs? Indeed, so then you have to buy the 4th, final, and most story important dlc that explains villain's backstory and motives, separately. So essientially, even if you own base game, you have to buy Royal Pack, Season Pass, and separate Arydn dlc. Its a mess. The FFXV ROYAL EDITION includes base game+pack+season pass (excludes 4th dlc) for those who don't own the base game. |

01.09.21 | played a fair bit of Final Fantasy last year... completed playthroughs of the Final Fantasy I remake for PS1, Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy VII Remake, and I also got into playthroughs of Final Fantasy II remake and Crisis Core...
overall, thought VII Remake sucked and I'm very much looking forward to returning to the original some time soon to get the yucky taste out of my mouth
I had (re)played Crisis Core leading up to playing remake... it's pretty good for what it is, nothing to really rave about... made the mistake of playing on Hard Mode though so I got to the very end and just said "fuck it, I know how it ends - I don't need to torture myself just to see the ending cutscene"
I quite enjoyed returning to X and its story/world... I guess I can understand not liking the fact that it doesn't have much of an open world to explore and being pretty linear, but it doesn't bother me at all with this one (I guess that's a bit harder to get past and let go if you also hate Tidus and/or other characters and the story/relationships)... came into this after trying to force myself to complete a runthrough of Xenosaga Episode I which I think I ended up getting 40 hours into before finally convincing myself to just drop it... didn't give a fuck about the story and actively did not like most of the characters in it, so letting go to jump into FFX, a PS2 JRPG I actually like, just felt really nice
I put down FFII months ago because I jumped into it right after completing the first one (since I was playing the Origins compilation) but I might have to give it another go at some point... there was something kind of nice about these games and seeing Final Fantasy stripped of all the stuff that came later and just at its core... I just think if I remember correctly, my attention span struggled with the original so that's probably why I didn't get too far in II before putting it down and moving on to something else... I was looking forward to the fact that it actually had characters in your party that have some dialogue (since nobody in your party ever says anything in the first one), but it sounds like maybe that won't even amount to much... |

01.09.21 | Going from 1 into 2 sounds arduous, totally understand setting it down. Sharenge, if you or anyone else hasn't played 4, I highly implore you to. Lots of different versions: SNES, GBA, DS, iOS, PSP, PS1, PC. They all vary in lots of ways - original SNES version outside of Japan was dumbed down both in difficulty and dialogue, DS version, as we'll as iOS and PC are 3D remakes. If I had to recommend only one version, I'd say PSP, otherwise PS1 and GBA are also good versions. |
Sharenge
01.09.21 | yeah I definitely look forward to playing 4 and 6 in particular from what I've read/heard - I just wanted to go back all the way first... not sure which version I'll pick between PS1 PSP and GBA they are all easily emulated... but based on the Origins collection, the Playstation releases seem quite nice |

01.10.21 | Damn, Veldin, that does sound like a bit of a mess with 15
I was sleuthing on the webs about the holy killing humanity thing, and something I came across mentioned that Holy could possibly kill off ppl that were considered a threat to the planet or something like that, which is why maybe they showed the ending with Midgard turned back to nature so many years in the future
I played IV and VI thru the Ps1 version. I never played the SNES version of it labeled as III that hit the states. I always heard the japanese version of it was better. I liked IV but I was way more into VI
Another great series of turn based rpgs are the Suikoden games. I really loved III and V on the Ps2. Played V a few times and def played thru III several times over with the multi character arcs and whatnot. Never got to play the first two, and I have heard the 2nd one is a classic |

I remember not having the patience to do the gold chocobo thing for Knights of the Round, which is probably a pretty chief reason why I wasn't able to beat a lot of the extra bosses in VII. I think the only bonus stuff I really did was get Vincent and Yuffie and beat the Ultimate Weapon. I remember trying and repeatedly failing to beat the desert and underwater boss |

01.10.21 | Yeah only PS3 and PSP have the PS1 classics available to buy thru PlayStation Network. Also you can play PS1 discs on all PS3 models. PS2 discs only work on the original 'fat' PS3 model. So if you happen to own any of these games on disc, you could play em that way too. My PlayStation 3 has essientially become my '90s JRPG system', with the occasional PS3 exclusive that hasn't been remastered for PS4, but those have become fewer and fewer. Still can't believe Demons Souls was remade for PS5. |

revisited some Final Fantasy stuff recently and I can honestly say I like twelve the most. Once you kinda twig that yr just gonna hold attack for your whole life in these games you may as well take the logical step of having the game hold attack for you. plus the music's incredible and the writing is good in the first half (and then Vayne gets on his airship and nothing else happens until the end cutscene, lol, nice) |

01.10.21 | "It did not wipe out humanity. It destroyed a lot but there were certainly survivors. Idk if this if this is in base game, but Advent children had people infected with geostigma due to the destruction."
Geostigma is not mentioned in the original game at all. One of the directors of the original said humanity was destroyed, like i said. And all the games and movies and stuff that came after were done by different people. They may have survived in those stories, but in the original game i dont think that was the intent.
"Well, it has def been a minute since I beat 7, but I thought holy was only summoned to destroy Seph's Meteor. I don't remember anything about it wiping out humanity"
Holy is a spell that carries out the will of the planet. It was summoned to destroy meteor, and it assisted the lifestream in doing that. The planet was saved, but Bugenhagen said Holy would take away the bad and leave the good, and he wondered which humanity would be. So with what the director said + the shot of a destroyed Midgar after the credits with no human life in sight + the question of whether humanity would be spared or destroyed because theyre a danger to the planet, i have to come to the conclusion that Holy wiped out humanity. |
Ecnalzen
01.10.21 | Thanks for the info, Veldin. I have a slim style Ps3, so it will only be able to do original Ps1 discs, then. I will have to do some perusing and see all what they have on there for the Ps1 classics if it is still going
I never got into the Shin Megami games much. I think I tried Nocturne out and was a little overwhelmed by everything you could do and how the game worked, so I didn't play it for long and never tried it again. I had never quite seen anything like that and didn't take the time to learn the game |

01.10.21 | the fanbase is what got me into ff7 back in the day. kind of like a cult following, but nothing too obnoxious. the internet was a much better place back then |

01.10.21 | gamefaqs old character contests bring back good mems... Cloud and Sephiroth (and Frog!) always made it near the end in those, probably where I became aware of the characters. |

01.10.21 | I like the story in KH1, and Chain of Memories is a cool offshoot, but it’s just too much BS after that lol. Even KH1 is convoluted as hell, just feels more inspired. Same with FF7. |

01.10.21 | the convolutedness is the best part lmao |

01.10.21 | LOL I never even particularly liked or even accepted the concept of Kingdom Hearts to begin with... guess it's no surprise I didn't like Remake |

01.10.21 | yea the convolutedness is the best part. the mystery and the intrigue, even if it's all bs is fun. all the secret endings and easter eggs etc |

01.10.21 | one of the worst aspects of Final Fantasy VII Remake is that they didn't really do ANYTHING with it.... the basis was to take the first 5-10 hours of the original game that is set in Midgar and blow it up into it's own ~50 hour game and nothing that they did justified this or even really made it work so the game fucking draaaags in regards to the presentation of the story... they just took a story that had been presented in that short time and stretched it out without making any substantial additions or changes to actually justify it being that long
one of the best things they could have done that they failed at was making Midgar feel like a living, fleshed out city that you can also live in and explore and get lost in (even though that kind of clashes with the original) since they decided they were going to have you be in this place for dozens of hours... instead it just feels like connected maze of hallways and pretty hollow |

01.10.21 | I... hate where the Kingdom Hearts series went, nowadays I only come back to KH1. I must say, KH3 has basically RUINED my likeness for KH2, I am SO fatigued of seeing those organization BITCHES. KH1 is just the simplest, and honestly, it is the best one, in a lot of ways, I'd argue it's the only game that's a MUST play in the series, coming from a long time fan of the series. |

01.10.21 | "KH1 is just the simplest, and honestly, it is the best one, in a lot of ways,"
Yeah but the simplicity made it also incredibly corny as fuck.
Honestly I prefer the 2nd half of KH over the first half. The final battle against the Org was the most epic fucking battle ever. I prefer the series when it is delving into the Keyblade wielders and their origins, their powers and all the shit that comes from the Master of Masters to Xehanort. I liked the Disney shit when I was a kid but now... I'd just prefer it if they cut out Disney entirely, it feels like an annoying add on keeping me from the main plot. |

01.10.21 | 6 is my favorite FF.
Suikoden 2 is the best JRPG ever made |

@botb You know the original creators of Suikoden made a kickstarter for a spiritual successor? |

"I'd recommend getting into emulation though but then I'm kind of a cheap bastard (then again, a little bit of extra effort for FREE seems kind of worth it to me)"
- I used to but none of my emulation stuff survived when my prev pc took a crap so I haven't looked into it again. I don't even remember which program I was using |
Veldin
01.11.21 | Yes, the PS3 store is still active. Emulation, especially for old games like SNES is super easy. Just download the program, download the ROM and boom.
I don't check this thread for a day and it gains like 50 comments and y'all start talking about SMT!? I'm so pumped for SMT3 Nocturne remaster for Switch and PS4/5. Also holding my breath for Persona 5 for Switch, because the chillest game needs to be on the chillest console. Until then, at least Persona 5 Strikers comes out in a month and looks way better than just a side game, offshoot. |

My feelings on the FF7 remake are complicated. I have a lot of gripes with it, but in the end i just had a great time recognizing things from the original and seeing how they translated them into a triple A modern game, it was such a great mix of old and new. And i liked how it was a remake but at the same time opened up the way to changing the story as well. In a perfect universe i would get an entire remake sticking exactly to the original story and one version where they do this parallel universe thing and change things, but overall id rather have the latter because i can still go back and play the original. |

well damn, didn't know u could do that. I might need to cop a ps3 cuz I looked at prices for suikoden on ebay and OOF |

Nolerthebowler - Idk I think Midgar justifies a full game. As a kid, I spent dozens of hours in Midgar thinking it was the whole game. When I finally left Midgar, I was like, WAIT THERES MORE!? Midgar is so rich with sci-fi and dystopian lore. I'm personally a huge fan of the Remake and feel I got my monies worth, and I bought the deluxe edition. |
Deathconscious
01.11.21 | I remember that moment as well. I had played at least one Final Fantasy game before FF7, so i knew about the overworld thing, but because it didnt show up for hours i just assumed this game wasnt going to have that. I thought everything would take place in Midgar, so yeah that was definitely a memorable moment. |
Sharenge
01.11.21 | Midgar in the remake is barebones, shitty and hollow though... like yeah, Midgar may justify a full game if done properly, but what they did with it in the actual game wouldn't even have been impressive had you only spent a fraction of the time there, let alone the entirety of a full length RPG |
Ecnalzen
01.11.21 | "Did not enjoy ff13, but 12 looks v interesting to me"
- I want to say I remember them being kind of similar, at least in the battle system. They both have active battles with speed bars and some form of automated options for characters. I remember liking 13 more than 12, story line and battle stystem wise, tho, but it's been a lot longer since I have played 12 than 13
"Yes, the PS3 store is still active."
Hot damn, gotta fire the Ps3 up and make sure it still works!

01.11.21 | "I might need to cop a ps3 cuz I looked at prices for suikoden on ebay and OOF"
- Man, I remember physical copies of games like that being ridiculously priced back back when the Ps3 was in its peak. I imagine it's even worse now with even more time passing since they were in print. I bet I probably wasted a lot of time and money hunting down copies of old Ps2/Ps1 games that were hard to find when I was younger |
Sharenge
01.12.21 | I just wish I'd never traded in my copy of Robot Alchemic Drive when my original PS2 started getting 'disc read error'... pretty sure the retro games store nearby sells it for like $100 whenever they get a copy =,( |
Ecnalzen
01.12.21 | I never heard of that game but it sounds awesome based purely off the wikipedia synopsis |
Keyblade
01.12.21 | yea i need to get that
dude @Ecnalzen the average price is like 400 bucks wtf its crazy. i've just resigned to using ODE's and just collecting my absolute favorites. PS1 presents a problem tho cuz I dont have one and I need to actually get the discs to play on my ps2. PS3 seems like a v cost effective solution |

01.12.21 | I've never tried it for that particular game but I imagine it emulates just fine and any toaster these days can emulate Playstation like it's nothing... half tempted to test it out and see since Suikoden is a series I've also been interested to check out |
Ecnalzen
01.12.21 | Damn, Key, that is even worse than I thought it would be. Ps3 would probs be your best bet with the digital option and the nice sized collection it has based on what the other guys are saying. Plus, you also wouldn't have to worry about memory cards on the Ps3 either, since I believe it saves to the hard drive, if I remember right
I think I have only messed with emulators for cartridge based games |
nolerthebowler
01.12.21 | I’m thinking about buying Chrono Cross on my PS3, but I’ve been into emulation lately, and would rather just get that working for freez |

01.12.21 | I have 7, 8 and 9 on my switch from sales. would have 10 and 12 too if I didn't already have those physically. Final Fantasy is very well covered on modern consoles, as it damn well should be lol |
Keyblade
01.12.21 | also I used to emulate ps1 pretty well back in like 06 on my toaster of a computer that had 9gb of hdd space lol. I think i bet emulation for it now is pretty much perfect
some systems aren't so lucky aka sega saturn |

01.12.21 | yeah I use either pSX or ePSXe for emulating Playstation games... just tested out Suikoden on pSX and went through the opening sequence and all good so far... didn't get to the combat... but yeah looks like I've got yet another game on my list now cus this seems up my alley and also I'm not at all familiar with any aspect of the story so it'll be totally fresh... and apparently II is even better |

01.12.21 | If nothing else works, I’m sure I can get something running on my laptop. I like the convenience of using the Wii U game pad tho, but we’ll seeeeeee |

01.12.21 | Fuck it, im about to get a cheap gaming laptop and play ff7 with mods, the PSN store port looks like shit on my HDTV. Plus ive always wanted to replace the blocky polygon character models. |
nolerthebowler
01.12.21 | boo the blocky models are nostalgic. Also emulators have the greatest feature ever that has been a shining light on nearly all my playthroughs of Square RPGs: the Speed Button. |
Keyblade
01.12.21 | luckily most of the re-releases on modern consoles have that too
also adolf i remember when I first played ff7 on the aforementioned toaster lol I played the pc port and specifically used character mods cuz I just couldnt wrap my head around the lego character models. couldnt suspend belief. now that i'm older I dont mind too much, but I bet the mods nowadays are sick |

@key i can tolerate them when the camera is further away, but when it gets up close it looks really bad. The absolute worst part about it is when they do the blocky character models in an FMV sequence, ugh. What the fuck were they thinking. |

01.12.21 | lol yea, I think all they do is give them thumbs. like whyyy |

01.12.21 | Suikoden 2 is supposed to be the creamiest of the crop from the series, from my understanding, so I have always wanted to play it. Hopefully soon if my Ps3 is still functional
