11.25.20 | I don't believe in dividends, they're a trap. A good growth stock will always have much better ROI than your dividends will yield, if the company is putting money into dividends they aren't aggressively growing enough to be worth my time. |

11.25.20 | When the market crashed back in March, I got a RobinHood account and started putting $200 into every month. I think initially I dumped in maybe $1000.
I bought up a few travel stocks like Southwest (LUV), Spirit Air (SAVE), and Carnival Cruises (CCL). Today I'm up nearly 50% on those three, but this new wave of cases makes me concerned they are going to tank again, plus potential Southwest furlough is coming. Anyway, buying these three at the bottom of the crash was an amazing decision to this point.
I'm also sitting on a few pot stocks because I think legalization in this country is around the corner. It's a waiting game.
The other wildcard stocks I have are exactly one share of TSLA, which is finally in the green for me since I bought it now they've announced the invitation to the S&P500.
And on a whim I bought stock in Chilis (EAT) when they announced they were going to be a ghost kitchen for Just Wings because I think buffalo wings are great and carry out is king right now. |

News of the vaccine surging stocks has honestly been a lot more sticky than I expected them to be. In hindsight, the boost from vaccine news came way sooner than I ever expected. I went under the presumption those stocks could dwindle for months-years and eventually boon but why sit around when you could 50% ROI somewhere else in the meantime? Awesome for you it worked out!
I would be very concerned about monitoring the debt ratio and stock dilution of the companies you are looking into gschwen. |

11.25.20 | @keyblade: You don't need to monitor stocks constantly only if you want to get really aggressive with it. What you invest in totally depends on your personal goals.
There are 'stocks' called ETFs, that are essentially like a super diversified bundle of stocks in an industry. The SPY being the most famous. It is a collection of the top 500 performing USA companies. You are basically guaranteed to make at least 5-8% return on an investment a year averagely with a lot of ETFs. Don't have to even look at it for 10 years.

Also anything in lithium mining and battery manufacturers I am very confident are excellent LEAPs. Look up every single major automobile manufacutrer all the major players are gonna have most of their lineup be EV by 2023. We are in the middle of a battery arm's race. Lithium's demand is estimated to rise over 600% in the coming years. |

Even the smaller EV companies are seeing massive growth now but you don't see much hype about companies making the components just yet. I think I have some slight exposure through QCLN(?) but yeah I feel really good about anything clean energy related long term. |
