11.16.20 | Cannibal Corpse - Butchered at Birth
If I dont read the lyrics along with it, I'm okay and actually really enjoy the album. Otherwise it legitimately makes me nauseous. |

11.16.20 | when I was a kid, I'd get car sick somewhat easily if it was too warm. And there were definitely a couple times that Pink Floyd's spacier songs would come on the radio and it would intensify the feelings because of how dreary they sounded. Don't remember the songs though. I genuinely think that's part of why I've never reallly listened to them, a slight trauma from childhood. |

11.16.20 | Cannibal Corpse - Tomb of the Mutilated
Nowadays, it doesn't bother me and there was a time that I really enjoyed listening to it, but way back when I was a young high school student, I stumbled across it and the song titles along with how the album sounded made me feel very sick. It's hard to describe the feeling. |
bloodshy
11.16.20 | If headaches count, yes. Certain snare drums with bad mixing really get to me.
If you mean queasy, no. I've never understood why people use disgusted- adjacent terminology to describe heavy music. "Oh, that's filthy! Yeah! " but I'm usually getting a pleasant vibe from it. |
wham49
11.16.20 | no but a concert did
Slipknot had tech issues at the "98" Ozzfest, so 100 degree weather, lots of beer, and an air raid siren going for 30 minutes, and the they take the stage and I could not stand any more, felt way better after they left the stage
maybe it was 99, i cant remember |
TheSpirit
11.16.20 | Getting into black metal, Dani Filth's vocals used to make me sick b/c it sounded like he was vomiting and it made me wanna vom. |
MillionDead
11.16.20 | I had diarrhea immediately after I finished Felony by Emmure. lmao I think it was just coincidence, but I can't shake the correlation all the same. I mean the album was very shitty.
This Diamonda Galas project sounds awesome though. |
ArsMoriendi
11.16.20 | Not an entire album, but "Camelback Cinema" by Primus never fails to give me a painful headache. Like physically.
Worst Primus song ever |

11.16.20 | That one's mixed with riot grrrl flavoring, which covers up the rusty grunge taste |

11.16.20 | @Pheromone Unless you've got a Kurt Cobain-themed popsicle (like those mangled spongebob ones you get at the ice cream truck) in your pocket, then I'll have to pass. |

11.16.20 | Speaking of something making you physically ill, that blue/white at the bottom makes it look like a tiny brain on some mint toothpaste. |

Pheromone
11.16.20 | the t/t for st anger. used to be the only metallica i actively listened to when i was a wee lad. used to put it on every mixtape i made.

11.16.20 | Is your household generally just chomping at the bit to fill the walls of your happy home with the sounds of Diamanda Galas?
"Not today, Sweet Baby James. You mustn't play Diamanda until Father has left for the stables." |
robertsona
11.16.20 | movies yes
honestly this will be taken as virtue-signaling probably but a lot of the sort of growly baritone singers like nick cave and tom waits (who i know r NOT the same as vocalists) sort of make me feel ill. never been a fan of that style |
Demon of the Fall
11.16.20 | Intriguing. Her debut has been remastered this year, any opinion on which is the definitive version?
P.S. hasn’t happened to me (yet), fortunately. I’ve been overcome with feelings of sadness, sometimes even a tad frightened. Not sick. |
polyrhythm
11.16.20 | I'm skimming through this Vena Cava album right now and it's dope |

11.16.20 | Aphex Twin - Richard D James Album. Brilliant album. Love it. Just it's hard to multi task anything whilst listening to it. It literally scratches your brain. |
Rolling Girl
11.16.20 | The closest I can think of are the Pink Guy albums, but listening to them makes me more angry than sick. |
BAT
11.16.20 | honestly thrown up to prolly too many albums but the most miserable experiences i remember involve listening to music while hungover. rush's freewill is a nightmare if you have a pounding headache |
rockarollacola
11.16.20 | Stalaggh - Pure Misanthropia is one that genuinely gets under my skin, but I struggle to call it a "musical" album.

11.16.20 | @porcupine
Believe it or not my mother used to be quite into her back then. The only reason she didnt play her music more often was because I immediately started grumbling about it the minute it came on. I have a seriously low tolerance for her register - both the low AND high one. |
Avagantamos
11.16.20 | not that I listened to personally, but sometimes my roommate is listening to some absolutely wretched shit. no clue what any of it is though |
Lucman
11.16.20 | You're close, Return To Rock. Plague Mass by Diamanda Galas was the single most unsettling thing I have ever heard. Have never rated it. |
ReturnToRock
11.16.20 | @Lucman oh yeah. That one. VC is still many times worse, though. |
BlazinBlitzer
11.17.20 | Sachiko M - Bar Sachiko
Need I say more? |
MillionDead
11.17.20 | Yeah Bar Sachiko sucks. Just two fucking sine waves? Even a noise album needs way more texture. Two pitches for a while record just strikes me as lazy. |

11.17.20 | Yes... album called. my Life. Every Day |
ReturnToRock
11.17.20 | @widow I was actually not aware of the one list per day rule. I DID know about the 'don't have more than one review of yours on the front page at any one time' rule, but from what I've seen lately, that appears to have gone away. I never knew it to be enforced with lists, though - but then again, as Chief Bromden would put it, 'I been away a long time'. |
JohnnyoftheWell
11.17.20 | Tool, probably |
wham49
11.23.20 | the list thing doesnt make sense, as you see tumbleweeds bowing through this site, your going to restrict people from wanting to use and get people involved, frickin stupid |
