10.31.20 | California > Disco Volante > s/t >>>> The Raging Wrath Of The Easter Bunny |
LeddSledd
10.31.20 | Disco Volante > California = s/t (kind of a toss up tbh) >>>> probably the other one |

10.31.20 | This trend of bands remastering their old demos should end cause it’s now wasted entire albums from the fall of Troy and mr bungle |
porcupinetheater
10.31.20 | Pretty sure this is the only way Bungle would've released anything "new" anyway, so wouldn't really call it a waste. And it's a fun enough for what is, would rather have it than not |
ArsMoriendi
10.31.20 | I mean 3 of the songs are originals, so technically they could write new material |
ReturnToRock
10.31.20 | 1 is 2, 2 is 1, havent heard 4 yet |
therollingstoned
10.31.20 | Oh, it’s fun for sure. I’m more salty about the FOT release |
polyrhythm
10.31.20 | Disco > California > self titled.
Haven't listened to Bunny all the way through yet, though it's almost certainly in last place |
asanisimasa
10.31.20 | Disco will always be my favorite |
Deez
10.31.20 | 2/3/1/4
2 and 3 are as close as it gets |
polyrhythm
10.31.20 | "2 and 3 are as close as it gets"
Agreed, but I'd switch your ranking |
LeddSledd
10.31.20 | Disco is incredible, def my favorite Bungle |
HYPERVIOLET
11.01.20 | Yeah disco or California for sure. I’ve tried their self titled a few times and can’t get into it at all |
FadedSun
11.01.20 | I go back and forth between Disco/Cali being my favs. I think it might be Disco in the end. It offers more on repeated listens than Cali does. ST is a solid, and fun album, and I don't have anything bad to say about it. It's just not as good as Disco and Cali. |
Sowing
11.01.20 | I've never heard a Mr. Bungle album but I listened to the new Easter Bunny thing which I guess is some reimagined album of theirs and it was one of the best heavy albums I've heard in years. |
FadedSun
11.01.20 | What a weird introduction to Bungle haha. Go back and start with their self-titled. |
polyrhythm
11.01.20 | Yeah damn dude, you must have the strangest image of Mr. Bungle in your head right now. Hope this experience doesn't affect your enjoyment of their studio album trilogy. All hard 5s as far as I'm concerned |
ArsMoriendi
11.01.20 | All 3 of their 90s albums are very strong, no wrong choice out of these
The new one is the wrong choice for start though like my god |
polyrhythm
11.01.20 | I would argue Disco is also a bad place to start for many people |
ArsMoriendi
11.01.20 | Disco was my 2nd Bungle, I heard for the first time at 4am when I was super tired
Somehow still loved it upon first listen |
polyrhythm
11.01.20 | Disco is their most inaccessible album. It lacks the melodicism of California and the sense of humour of s/t. I'm sure it has scared plenty of people away |
polyrhythm
11.01.20 | Disco was also my 2nd (I listened to them chronologically). I didn't love it the first time round, but I was profoundly intrigued. That intrigue, combined with my strong affection for the debut, was enough to keep me listening |
ArsMoriendi
11.01.20 | I went Cali -> Disco -> s/t -> Bunny |
polyrhythm
11.01.20 | I anticipate (and recommend) that Sowing will do the exact opposite |
bloaf38
12.10.20 | 2314. I haven't listened to bunny all the way. But California and Disco are classics! |

12.10.20 | 2 by itself |
