Haken Ranked

I don't there has been a bad Haken album yet. That being said, here's my power ranking for what I would say is one of the best prog bands of today.
1Haken
The Mountain

This one is an modern classic. There isn't a single bad song on this and it does an excellent job of paying homage to the classic prog while also adding their own modern prog sound.
Best Song: Pareidolia
2Haken
Virus

This and Vector are pretty much tied, but if I had to rank one higher than the other it would be this by a hair. One of Haken's more "emotional" albums, this one has been on constant play in my car and house. Many fans are disappointed by it leaning on the heavier side, but I feel like it does this without sacrificing their signature touches.
Best Song: Messiah Complex
3Haken
Vector

These two albums were a breath of fresh air for the band. Coming of Affinity which, is good, but IMO doesn't feel particularly inspired, this album felt oddly more simplistic than previous efforts. But if you actually listen to the attention to detail spread across this and Virus it's pretty obvious that this and Virus are two of their most powerful and energetic since The Mountain.
Best Song: Puzzle Box
4Haken
Aquarius

Haken have always played very traditional prog metal. That being said, this album feels so bold, especially when you consider it is their debut. It also plays as their most emotional after Vector and Virus, drawing on the theme of sacrifice to add a heaviness to the album that neither Visions nor Affinity have. It isn't particularly reigned in, which could definitely be a turn-off for non-prog fans.
Best Song: Celestial Elixir
5Haken
Affinity

There was no right way to follow up The Mountain. That being said, drawing from 80's and 90's prog and utilizing a more electronic sound was probably a smart move as not to repeat the massive orchestral sound of the previous album. In general, the album feels a little low energy in some spots. The strength of this album comes not from that, however, and instead from the great atmosphere.
Best Song; Bound by Gravity
6Haken
Visions

Is it a bad album, no. But I feel like the album is built around the T/T, which is really the only song I return to from it regularly. In general it just feels safe, as if the band was trying to release Aquarius pt.2 instead of an album with its own unique voice.
Best Song: Visions.
