GOTY 2020 (so far)

how my mind changed 2020
110 Years
The Autumn Effect

Wasteland 3

Yeah Fallout, take notes. Actually Fallout was born because of Wasteland. Wasteland 3 is everything I expected and even more. It reminds me of XCOM with the Wasteland aspect not far off. Easily top spot for game of the year.
2MF DOOM
Operation: Doomsday

Doom Eternal. I really don't need to write up anything about this game. If you like Super Mario, Metroid and First Person Shooters, this is top tier. Only gripe is the multiplayer which is unique, but falls short of replayability.
3Gate
Gåte

Baldur’s Gate 3. I have early access to this game and it's great so far.
4Weezer
The White Album

PGA 2K21. Solid physics, only gripe is lack of character modeling/apparel. Other than that it is a really good game.
5Final Fantasy
He Poos Clouds

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition. I haven't spent much time on this yet since Wasteland 3 has been filling that slot, but so far it has potential.
6Gorguts
The Erosion of Sanity

The Last Of Us: Part II. Although the game as a whole is pretty fucking amazing, the entire agenda of normalizing the fact a person willingly will not have children is offsetting. If they left that out, easily #1.
7Ghostface Killah
Ironman

Ghost Of Tsushima. I wrote this up on #2 but it didn't save. This game is fucking perfect. Easily the best game I have ever played. My only gripe here is there is no multiplayer...but wait! There IS multiplayer coop coming next month! It's going to be phenomenal. Add me on PS4 lxlCyniclxl
8Pantera
Far Beyond Driven

Nioh 2. Thanks for this mention btw Gyro, this game is amazing. It's like a souls game mixed with a hint of Sekiro and a dash of Ghost Of Tsushima. This could easily be game of the year from what I've played so far, it is flawless. There is so much to do, so much to memorize and it has an extremely high replayability factor. Not only will I be playing this for the rest of the year, I will probably play this far beyond that point.
