pjquinones747 07.19.20	Is that so? Interesting! I thought Lenticular was a straight up shoegaze song. Did you happen to listen to the other material outside of Death Do Us Part? Some shoegaze elements across the rest of the songs too, and the lead player is heavily influenced by the shoegaze greats. His pedalboard is massive and integral to our live shows.

pjquinones747 07.19.20	Interesting take! I appreciate you taking the time to listen. I think all of the very dense guitar-driven soundscapes make me feel very gazey with it. When I think nu-metal I think Korn so it's been surprising but I'm still for it! I'm also curious if you'd think nu-metal after listening to one of the other singles like Conflict or Lagoon.
Beardog 07.19.20	Only legit shoegaze I heard is parts in Deafheaven's songs so yeh Okay, so listening now. This sounds really good on first listen Track 1: Sounds like some alternative/post-hardcore band. Something like Glassjaw maybe? Track 2: Really reminds me of Deftones, the parts without vocals are obviously more gazey Track 3: Not really sure what music this is. Post-metal with gaze? Idk, sounds huge, I love it Conclusion: Really good EP. Would for sure listen to more of your music, when is the full length gonna come out?

pjquinones747 07.21.20	Unfortunately the market got too saturated with full releases over time and now Spotify numbers drive record label interest, and the best way to get numbers is getting playlisted...and the best way to do that is single submissions. So that's what taking music seriously looks like in 2020.

pjquinones747 07.21.20	PRAYING that shows will be back by 2021. Both of my bands are just focusing on writing and recording and trying to get together some kind of streaming shows too. Just tough because decent quality streams require videographers which is $$$ and times are tough.

Streaming shows might take precedent and musicians will just have to be okay taking a break on the financial earnings aspect, operate low key, work some other job in the meantime. I wasn't making enough to live on it anyways, but we paid for our videos, studio quality, etc via show earnings so those are just going to go out the window for the time being haha
