Good Metalcore

if you have anything like this then rec it.
1Polaris (AUS)
The Death of Me

this album was fantastic, loved the improved vocals, guitars were fantastic, drums and bass are great, each member pulls their weight very well despite being melodic metalcore
2Botch
We Are the Romans

i don't even need to explain this one, it's we are the romans,
3The Dillinger Escape Plan
Miss Machine

while you won't find a dillinger album that is pure bred of a genre i'd say machine plays some fantastic metalcore riffs at times, paired with gregs surprisingly good vocals, schizophrenic guitar work, pummelling drums, it makes a record well worth your time.
4Norma Jean
All Hail

norma jean had a weird progression, funnily enough they ended up releasing their two best albums in their career when most bands would have been slumping, maybe because they don't have any original members left but it's hard to deny the work in their two recent albums are anything but fantastic, riffs are nasty, groovy and heavy, coreys screams have never sounded better with a great range with it and opting to sing scream instead of sing at least early on (think all our gods have abandoned us by architects for how it would sound), and drums just assault the ears with the bass adding a lot of the groove and flair into the main riffs.
5Every Time I Die
Low Teens

or a band that seems to hate norma jean more every day passes they really do pair well together, low teens is another band that should be slumping but have released their most acclaimed release yet, although that fact is more impressive when you realise the rhythm guitarist, main guitarist and Kieth have all be in the band since day one, but yea low teens is fantastic, it's got a shit ton of groove in the riffs, bass adds to the southern feel of it all, drums while not amazing still do well with keeping the energy, keith pulls his weight with some great vocals, the whole thing has a whole southern feel as well, great album though
