Coast 2010s

1 | | Panopticon Social Disservices
atmospheric black metal - Derided for its sound like Opeth's Deliverance and Metallica's AJFA, this is also Panopticon's bleakest, heaviest and most intense release. Original also better than the remix. Self-titled may have stronger stand out tracks but this is a seamless experience from start to end. A suffocating atmosphere dripping in melancholy. This entire album consumes me. Lunn is renowned for his drumming which is exemplified throughout and in the final 7 minutes the drumming makes you weep in sorrow like only a guitar or voice is supposed to. |
