Periphery Worst to Best

Becasue why not ;) I'm only including full releases and alpha and omega will be separate.
6Periphery
Juggernaut: Alpha

It's weird for me since I love Omega so much to find this to be their worst album. However, the writing, the structures, the feeling, and the overall flow of this record is stale and degrading. Every time I pull this record out to spin, I skip the Alpha disk and go straight to Omega. It's just a boring listen from front to back.

Periphery III: Select Difficulty

I hated this record when it first came out. I didn't like the style and it felt like they were falling apart. The record has grown on me through the years, but I still find this record quite stale from time to time.

Periphery

Ohh the debut...what a record to debut on. A heavy-hitting, yet the sophisticated pop sound that would flag them into one of the most meme centered bands to live. Most of the songs have aged quite well and I will always hold a special place in my heart for "racecar".
3Periphery
Periphery IV: Hail Stan

The most recent release from the band and honestly it's such a great direction for the band to be heading in. They sound happy and well-tuned now that they are recording on their own label and I can't wait to see what they do with this more progressive metal style (even though they have always been in the vein of prog, it comes off better and stronger than ever on their fourth Periphery instalment).
2Periphery
Juggernaut: Omega

Sputnik's favorite (probably) record of the band and it's well deserved. It's the heaviest the band had ever sounded up to that point. The record has this unsettling feeling to it that keeps my ears heightened from front to back.

Periphery II: This Time It's Personal

Bring me the hate, I want all of it for saying this is Periphery's greatest work. The pop-infused djent is a soundscape that I keep returning to ever since it's 2012 release. Honestly, the hate this record gets just doesn't hold up for how damn fun this record is to me.
