It does get full on as they have a pretty dedicated fanbase and Ive heard some weird stories but they always have time for people. Colin especially being the singer gets most of that like Ive legit seen queues waiting to talk to him but he rarely shys away. And some of them are always in or around the merch and shit. Just normal guys playing music. How it should be.

Sinternet 01.28.20	First Concert - We Came as Romans/The Color Morale/CVhunk no Captain Chunk/Palm Reader - look it was cheap and i was 16 ok. palm reader slay though and wcar were pretty decent tbf Last Concert - Pom Poko/Orchards - two very exciting young bands (orchards debut album coming out very soon) both put on a hell of a show and had such good energy Best Concert - mewithoutYou/The World is a Beautiful Place.../Delta Sleep - stacked lineup, and every band pulled their wait. Hearing January 1979 live though was of course the highlight Worst Concert - Aside from my first I struggle to think of any that were particularly bad. However I went with a friend to a Suuns gig and had a runin with some people i knew and dearly wished to avoid which put a damper on what was otherwise a decent show. Loudest Concert - Swans for sure. 3 hour set and i forgot my fucking earplugs, worth it though Seen the most - Shonen Knife - they seem to do the UK gig route every year and me and my friend have made to 3 or 4 now, pretty damn consistently fun Most surprising - The Story So Far - one of the most insane shows i've ever seen, insane pit which I didn't expect at fucking scrawny whiteboy pop punk show. Best Concert - Portishead, during their Third-tour. Sorry Deez, you should absolutely go see them if you get the chance. Mesmerizing. Worst Concert - Probably VNV Nation. They were so bad, really disappointing. Even teenage me couldn't see through that. Loudest Concert - Holy Fuck. Dude, these guys are L O U D. Seen the most - Cradle of Filth or Opeth probably. I was (am?) a fanboy after all. Most surprising - Agnes Obel. I knew she was good on record, but that live show for her Citizen Of Glass album was totally amazing an blew me away. Intimate, sincere, mixed beautifully (what else can you expect from her?), nice variety. Had it all. Next concert - Agnes Obel, super happy I'm going to see her again! Great live artist. nuklearmoose 01.28.20	First Concert - Green Day (back in 2009) Last Concert - Angel Olsen (October 2019). Oh yeah, I forgot, Tool who I also saw in October. Best Concert - Probably Tedeschi Trucks Band (2017). They're so tight as a band and Jimmy Herring came on and the band played "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" Worst Concert - I think I have enjoyed every concert i've been to in some degree, but probably Deerhunter (2016). I like their music, but the concert was a little underwhelming to me. Loudest Concert - Black Mountain. Smaller venue and I was right up front. Ears rang for a day after that Seen the most - Strand of Oaks (3 times). Then The Tallest Man on Earth and Father John Misty (twice) Most surprising - Animals as Leaders. Damn, they were good. It was my first impression of them too, which probably helped blow me away. Next concert - I really want to see OM, so they might be next. If not, probably Tame Impala. Wish I'd seen - Definitely 75-77 Pink Floyd.

Bored to tears I was lol Best concert - The National at Alexandra Palace in support of TWFM Worst concert - some rock festival where it rained torrentially the whole time and after watching Tool in the rain, band were shitty, so my mate just said ‘let’s never speak of this time again’ and we bailed on it and went home. Loudest concert - maybe Deerhunter? Seen the most - embarrassingly probably Terrorvision, but only festival sets. First time I saw Dream Theater in 2007 still holds strong. Else probably Rammstein or Ne Obliviscaris, both for very different reasons. Worst Concert - Hmm I've seen a lot of bad shows. Either Protest the Hero or Marilyn Manson. The first for their incredibly bad sound, the second for coming over just completely uninterested. Loudest Concert - Rammstein for sure. Never been to Sun O so it'll never be as loud as it could be. Seen the most - Dream Theater. Seen them about 7 times I think. Most surprising - Probably either Alcest or Parkway Drive. Alcest was completely out of the blue and most welcome at the time, Parkway Drive was something I found boring on CD, but holy crap does that band deliver live. Their enthusiasm was completely infectious. Next concert - Winterfylleth acoustic show in a pub in my hometown in 2 weeks. Wish I'd seen - Michael Jackson. Yeah I know, I know. zakalwe 01.28.20	One that always sticks in the mind as something special is Spiritualized acoustic at Union Chapel. That one really resonated in the bones.
Deez 01.28.20	Sweet. Acoustic sets in churches/chapels man..I was thinking also of the Cave In at Roadburn set a few years ago 2 weeks after their bassist died. Just Steve and adams acoustic set, in a church annex. Was absolutely heartbreaking yet life affirming and a community coming together through music. I dont like to class that as a 'best' show but nothing can compare to the emotions of that hour really. I was quite openly crying as were many others.

H.R. was basically catatonic as he mumbled "yeah we got that attitude". Absolutely heartbreaking stuff. I ended up leaving that set early to go check Lawrence Arms' 'Calcutta' set

madrigal30 01.30.20	First Concert - Ghost Last Concert - PUP Best Concert - PUP, but the first time Worst Concert - probably this dumb local hardcore band, or FIDLAR Loudest Concert - Single Mothers Seen the most - PUP Most surprising - SWMRS are dope live Next concert - TWY/Free Throw/Spanish Love Songs/Pool Kids Wish I'd seen - MCR, but i was like 10 when they were touring, so I kinda missed the boat on that one. Can't wait to catch them in September

NOTINTHEFACE 01.30.20	First Concert - Relient K and Mae. I was 14 I think lol. Last Concert - Shit... it's been almost 2 years, but Circa Survive on their On Letting Go anniversary tour. Best Concert - Porcupine Tree on their The Incident tour. I know that's not a well-loved album, but the set was almost 3 hours long including a complete playthrough of that album. It was glorious. Worst Concert - Idk maybe the time I was dragged along to Blindside? Or maybe when I went to see Anberlin but Metro Station opened for them which was dreadful and Anberlin was kinda lame. Yeah, probably that one. Loudest Concert - Not sure. Deftones was pretty loud iirc. Seen the most - Steve Wilson/Porcupine tree (basically the same thing) Most surprising - Went to see BtBAM with a friend who loves them and Intronaut opened for them. Never before have I been so blown away by live music with which I was previously unfamiliar. That was the beginning of a long a passionate love affair with Intronaut. Next concert - Kayo Dot next month. Wish I'd seen - Too many to list, but Opeth pre-watershed (seen them multiple times since), Underoath on the Define the Great Line reunion tour (i was living in Japan at the time), or Chelsea Wolfe when she came through town a few months ago (having a baby puts a damper on your concert going as it turns out)
Deez 01.30.20	I saw opeth in the mid 90s open for Morbid Angel. But I can barely remember it. Kayo dots always a blast though Im not feeling teh new album so wonder how it will go down live.
NOTINTHEFACE 01.31.20	Yes, I'm really curious what KD will end up playing since each album sort of has its own specific band and this is specifically the Blasphemy support tour. I'd be thrilled with any cuts from the last 3 albums, so my expectations are pretty low, while also maintaining that I'd shit my pants if they played anything older.

NOTINTHEFACE 01.31.20	@zak yeah I love it too, and the live performance was transformative. Time Flies and the "jam sequence" in the middle of the album were really something else. Plus capping that off with an hour of tracks like Anesthetize and Dark Matter made it a pretty perfect night.
