| People Should Listen To These
Just 5 albums that are unfairly ignored/forgotten/unappreciated | | 1 | | The Chameleons S.cript of the Bridge
S.cript won't come up for some technical reason, so no artwork. Anyway, very good dreamy post-punk with tons of reverb. Joy Division/Interpol fans would like. | | 2 | | Psychotic Waltz Into the Everflow
Psychedelic proggy metal, also quite 'dreamy' sounding, lots of great melodies. Apparently John Petrucci is a fan, if you care. | | 3 | | Mellow Candle Swaddling Songs
A very melodic early 70s acid/psychedelic folk album. A bit dated but still good. Great singing & bass-lines. | | 4 | | Comus First Utterance
Another acid folk album but completely different. Sounds like a demented, twisted version of Jethro Tull sped up 50 times. Could be used as the soundtrack to a human sacrifice in the middle of a forest. Very possibly the most evil music ever recorded. Mikael kerfeldt is a big fan, if you care. | | 5 | | Electric Masada At the Mountains of Madness
Quality jazz album with a rich, deep sound led by John Zorn. Perhaps sometimes a bit too chaotic but also with some great melodies and improvisation. And some of the best musicianship I've ever heard. | |

11.10.08 | Yes yes, Script of the Bridge is one of the bets albums of the 80s and The Chameleons are one of the best bands of the decade. |
