Adding CDs To the Database....
Introducing you to new Music.... |
| 1 | | Harm (US-NC) What We Know is a Drop, What We Don't Know...
Think Comrades or CrazyEightyEight post hxc with girl singer. Im not as big a fan of her singing as the girls from those aforementioned bands but she aight. The heavier sections are prolly heavier than Comrades and C88 and the screamer sounds a lot like garrett from silent planet they also genius annotation the references in their own lyrics like SP. |
| 2 | | Break Your Fist Break Your Fist
Japanese ATGcore that rules. Technically I didn't add this to the db but you motherfuckers love adding a cd to the db and then not putting the album artwork, or genre tag or related artists so i'm counting this. |
| 3 | | Flames of Betrayal Futility of Hope
Solid ATG core revival if you didn't know any better you'd think this ep was released in 2004 not last year. |
| 4 | | Castyoudown Demo 2016
See 3 but sub 2016 for last year. |
| 5 | | Winter Solstice The Pulse is Overrated
demo ep never added to database before. all songs from this were put on their full length follow up |
| 6 | | Alove For Enemies The Silent Rival
first ep from these guys. never listened to it before but their full lenghth 'Resistance' is f'ing hvy af |
| 7 | | Teksuo Nure-Onna
Really like this ep. they're an mxc band out of Spain really melodic and epic sounding kinda symphonic thing think betraying the martyrs. |
| 8 | | Fjord (VA) Lives Lives
The vocalist from Winter Solstice follow up band. More Spitfire and Norma Jean sounding musically. heavy as shit I jammed this back in the purevolume da ys so it holds some nostalgic factor for me. |
| 9 | | xDisciplex A.D. The Revelation
classic Christian hxc band from the erie, pa scene. never listened to this but I dig their band Jesus Wept's one release a lot. |
| 10 | | buriedbutstillbreathing Demo |
| 11 | | Staining the Twilight Black Transforming the Myth
I've never listened to wristmeetrazor but in reading the descrptions of their (wmr) music I imagine these guys sound similar. very early 2000s sound, I like it reminds me of listening to random core bands on purevolume and myspace back in the day. |
| 12 | | Terra Firma (US-PA) Silence Cries
Solid Christian hxc release reminds me a lot of the focal point cd suffering of the masses |
| 13 | | Focused The Hope That Lies Within
classic Christian hxc band I believe they were one of the first hxc bands signed to tooth and nail but I could be wrong. the two songs I listened from this were both a ok |
| 14 | | Run Devil Run The Killing Civilization
Hare Krishna (I think lol) hxc band out of the erie, pa scene. this is pretty good. less metallic influence than the other bands I've listened to from that scene. |
| 15 | | Forgetting The Memories Known Darkness
I like every band that sounds exactly like betraying the martyrs more than btm themselves lol. Vocals on this ep are great (both screams and cleans) the 11 minute instrumental that closes this ep is pretty good too. I think german or something. Update: upon relisten the clean vocals aren't really all that spectacular but they're used well. |
| 16 | | Shockwave Autohate
Transformers inspired late 90s metallic hxc. f'ing rules |
| 17 | | Training for Utopia Plastic Soul Impalement
I didn't add this to the db I don't think but I did add their 'American music machine' cd to the db so close enogh. "Burning match in hand' and 'single handed attempt at a revolution' are two of my favorite mxc songs. |
| 18 | | Someday To Failure, Dear Brother
Completely forgotten Christian post hxc band from 2006 that released one ep before breaking up. sounds very similar to 'I call this abandonment' by chasing victory. pretty damn good. |
