Neon Bible
I initially had negative feelings towards this album, being a faithful fan of "Funeral". Upon further listening however I realized the brilliance of "Neon Bible". I love how it presents these grand, often darker themes while also retaining elements of their sound off of "Funeral". A solid album that deserves as much praise as their first. | | 4 |  | Gorillaz
Gorillaz
An eclectic mix of just about everything, "Gorillaz" manages to take an extremely varied and often quirky and random sound and make it their own. Definitely a solid album, especially if one takes the time to look past hit singles Clint Eastwood and 19-2000. Hats off to Damon Albarn. | | 5 |  | Foo Fighters
Foo Fighters
This album reminds me a lot of several Queens of the Stone Age albums; it is very much more centered on rhythm in riffs beneath Grohl's lyrics. While I still regard "The Colour and the Shape" as their best, Foo Fighters still pull it off on their first album. | |

...I should probably check out Gorillaz at some point though, I love Demon Days. |
