| Opeth Ranked
Ranking Opeths albums from least favourite to favourite : ) | | 13 | | Opeth Sorceress
A low point in the bands otherwise fantastic, discography. | | 12 | | Opeth Pale Communion
Better than Sorceress for sure, but still "pales" in comparison to their other releases. | | 11 | | Opeth Deliverance
Yeah, I honestly only REALLY dig the title track and "For Absent Friends". The other tracks are still good though. | | 10 | | Opeth In Cauda Venenum
Their latest release is definitely a step up from "Pale Communion" and "Sorceress". Some good stuff on here! | | 9 | | Opeth Orchid
A verrry good debut, but they would only get better \m/ | | 8 | | Opeth Watershed
The last album of their "Prog-Death" style of music. A decent end of that era. | | 7 | | Opeth Damnation
#7 feels pretty low for this gorgeous record, but I don't feel like it beats any of the next albums so yeah. | | 6 | | Opeth Heritage
Yeah I know, putting Heritage above Damnation is blasphemy, but I've really grown to love this record. Especially when I listen to it on vinyl, perfect while enjoying a nice strong, cold Beer or glass of Red Wine. | | 5 | | Opeth Ghost Reveries
An absolute classic Opeth album. A great place to start if you're new to the band, or if you want to get your friends into Opeth. | | 4 | | Opeth My Arms, Your Hearse
The perfect album for Autumn and an essential for any fan of the band. I highly recommend you check this out if you haven't already. | | 3 | | Opeth Morningrise
One of my personal favourites (if you couldn't tell from my username xD)
Like it says in 'Shadows' review of the album it has "Indescribable qualities giving it a dreamlike quality"
"To Bid You Farewell" is the perfect track for whenever you're in deep thought or brooding. | | 2 | | Opeth Still Life
Some fans prefer this record over Blackwater Park, and I don't blame them. This album is pretty much perfect. Another essential from these guys and I couldn't recommend this album enough. Lots of Prog/Death goodness to be found on here \m/ | | 1 | | Opeth Blackwater Park
I know, kinda boring to see Blackwater Park as #1, but the reason is that it's the album that got me into these guys + it's my most listened to record from these guys. So lots of nostalgia with this one :)
I personally think every track is amazing. From "The Leper Affinity" to "The Funeral Portrait" to the calming instrumental "Patterns in the Ivy" and the absolute monster of a closing track "Blackwater Park"
I fucking love this album < 3 | |

10.20.19 | Your 3-4-5-6 is my top 4, in any given order, so that's good! Team Heritage!
1 and 2 would me much lower and 9 much higher on my list. | Morningrise767
10.20.19 | Team Heritage indeed my brother!
Nice to hear from you Trifo! | Trifolium
10.20.19 | Yeah man, such a lovely record. I'll jam it again today, it's been too long.
BWP t/t is their best track probably though. Or When. | Morningrise767
10.20.19 | These guys have like 20 "best tracks" tho hahaha | Lucman
10.20.19 | Heritage is absolutely better than Damnation. Spot on list too, though I'd switch 10 with 7. | Trifolium
10.20.19 | ''These guys have like 20 "best tracks" tho hahaha'' True that hahaha! Amizing band, one of the best easily.
And yesss another member of Team Heritage joined the list! | zakalwe
10.20.19 | Still finding it impossible to rank at the min and havenโt heard enough of 7,8,11,12 and 13 but Heritage is still me fave.

10.20.19 | It's up there agreed. | zakalwe
10.20.19 | That being said the first 3 albums are all absolute essentials | SuzyC
10.21.19 | Not too far off my own ranking, which doesn't include the newest as it hadn't come out yet. Not sure where I would put that one yet. It doesn't fire me up very much at this point. Hopefully it's a grower. |
