The second chapter of the concept begun with Stream of Consciousness, and the last with the amazing singer Michele Luppi. 8/10
Above the Light

The incredible debut album by the Italian fathers of Progressive Death Metal. A masterpiece 9.5/10

It's probably the earliest Italian metal album (of we don't consider the debut albums by Strike and Vanadium, which were still heavily influenced by '70s hard rock) and surely the earliest Italian metal masterpiece. Berserks' music reminds strongly Iron Maiden's Killers, but with a very fresh sound and a great guitarwork, despite the mediocrity of the singer and the horrible quality of the recording. 8.5/10
Ars Magika

An incredible way to play symphonic BM. Only four, long suites in which BM and gothic atmospheres are perfectly balanced. 9/10
Rise of the Warlords

Among the plenty of Epic Metal bands risen in Italy between 1999 and 2007 (Holy Martyr, Doomsword, Wotan, Etrusgrave, ecc.), this is one of the best. 8/10

A great album of death/doom, full of sick melodies and great gothic arrangements. 9/10
47Crystal Phoenix

It's a very strange album by a one-(wo)man band. It bleds '70s prog, doom, epic and folk with the dark voice of Myriam Saglimbeni. 8.5/10

When you say "progressive death metal" you often have to listen virtuosistic non-sense bands. In this album, the sound of Death meets a true progressive attitude, in a very original platter. 8.5/10
49Death SS
Heavy Demons

Another masterpiece of the band. It's more classic metal-oriented than the previous albums, but as much obscure. 8.5/10
In Tenebra

A very strange Progressive Metal album, full of doomish and deathrash influences. A dark jewel. 8.5/10
51Forgotten Tomb
Songs to Leave

Pure depressive BM. 8.5/10
Abyss Calls Life

A great step ahead of their previous album, a BM recording full of complex rithmic patterns, obliquous and dissonant melodies and classic HM shades. 8.5/10
The Silencer

A catchy melodic deathrash metal album, with some influences from Sentenced. 8/10
54White Skull
Public Glory Secret Agony

Another great album from the best Classic Power Metal band in Italy. 8.5/10
55Moon of Steel (ITA)

The Italian answer to Crimson Glory. A powerful album. 8/10
Emperor of the Black Runes

This Is the best album by the band from Florence. The Epic Metal of the two earlier albums Is mixer with the Power Metal of the previous album for a very balanced result. 8/10
When the Aurora Falls.....

A great power metal album in the style of Stratovarius. 8/10
In Saturn Mystique

Another black diamond by the band from Turin. In their last work before the band changed its name, Maldoror continue on the path of Symphonic BM of their debut, but adds some very interesting EBM elements (in particular on "Osiris Elettro Mantrum"), which remind the Aborym's debut "Kali Yuga Bizarre" (released the previous year). 8.5/10
