11.03.08 | i was thinking the samething with Akerfeldt being an underrated GUITARIST. Alot of people let his vocals outshine his guitar playing. Scott Hull should be on the list and Jon Nodtveid aswell. The Isis guitar players are awesome too. |

There's all these "guitar heroes" featured in magazines like Guitar World and shit yet I never see Akerfeldt's name or face near any of them. I hate to say the obvious thing, but he really is such a unique guitarist that he should get more attention for it. The reason that it surprises me so much is because Opeth is insanely popular. If I recall correctly Opeth's new album hit the billboard top 20 in the U.S. which is a huge surprise. |
