08.09.19 | Also yeah I’d definitely implore anyone not to join if you think accepting my invite and filling a spot in will be your biggest contribution to the league. It’s one thing to start out 1-5 and kinda quit from there... it’s another thing to join the league and then not show up to the draft, never set your lineup, have a roster full of IR players etc. as there’s usually two or three teams that do that every year in this league.
Also please don’t join if you don’t know what you’re doing (thinking Sinternet a couple years ago)... it’s kinda funny during the draft when you’re purposely making a joke team... it’s not funny when Julio Jones is traded for three bench players because “fuck it lol” |

As I’ve told a few people already... the current draft time/date I currently have set (Sept 1st at like 3:00pm EST I think) isn’t concrete by any means (yahoo makes you set one in order to create the league). I definitely want to work out a date/time where at least the majority of us will be able to attend. |

Scoring settings are pretty much the status quo outside of the half-ppr part.
Passing TDs = 4 points
25 passing yards = 1 point
10 rushing/receiving yards = 1 point
Rushing/receiving TDs = 6 points
Fumbles/INTs = -2 points
Field goals are 3 points, 40+ yards in 4 points, 50+ is 5 points
Sacks are 1 point, INTS are 2 points, fumble recoveries 2 points, TDS 6 points, safeties 2 points as far as defense scoring
I think that's about it

Ooof yeah this has definitely been a problem for as long as I've been doing this, especially when teams start 0-2 or have their team auto-drafted or a highly drafted played gets hurt or what have you... some users get really inactive.
Now that you bring it up I might try to make a list every week in an effort to document the going ons of the league and facilitate discussion/trash talk. Feel like that would really make it a "sput" league in a way and would keep users active and interested. My only worry is that non-league members would get annoyed at a weekly fantasy football thread as it doesn't really have anything to do with music (though it's fully made up of sput users). |

a small weekly payout for the points leader tend to keep players involved even if they're out of the playoff race or whatever
