06.29.19 | A band that I think deserves more love is Woods of Ypres. Blackened doom metal band but super accessible. I believe anyone can enjoy them. People compare then to Type O Negative but honestly, they do their own thing and have a very unique sound. If you aren't a metal fan don't let the genre label fool you, they get super emotional and melodic quite often. Check out their last two records. The vocalist was an amazing dude that died tragically. Otherwise, they would've been at the forefront I strongly believe. |
