LOVEANDACCEPTANCE
06.05.19 | muddy waters is pretty good, but no way he's the best mc out there, tbh wouldn't even put him top 5 of his era |

06.05.19 | big pun destroys everyone but yeah redman is dope |
Typhoon24
06.05.19 | I mean G Rap skill wise crushes everyone (maybe except big daddy Kane). Pun, Nas and Black Thought come close but they all were directly inspired by him (Pun knelt down and kissed G Raps pinky ring when they first met as a sign of respect.) I just wanted to point out that Redman was the total package: technical skills out the ass, critical and commercial success, consistency and popularity. |
JoeTex
06.06.19 | agreed on g rap, one of the greats. i put him in the era just before red. |
JoeTex
06.06.19 | "and lol at putting nas and gza over kool g/any other wu/mop/literally any other NY mid 90's rappers"
you got masta killa & ugod ahead of nas and gza? |
MELONADE13
06.06.19 | masta yes, and I dislike Ugod on the level I dislike nas and gza, so not ahead but also not behind |

08.09.19 | He's definitely better then most of the generic mainstream rappers that often top lists like Jay, Pac, Big and Kendrick, and by far. He can actually take a bit to get into, but yea these four albums are a great example as to why he's one of the greats, The Saga Continues wasn't very good but his highlights stood out for sure. |

08.21.19 | I don't think he's the best, he a better choice for someone to call the best then a lot of the more generic choices though. |
