ALBUMS TO CHECK 5/17/2019
1Kurt Travis
There's a Place I Want to Take You

The man with the golden pipes. Seeing him w/Andres and Adventurer June 1st. Last time I saw him I cried it was so good, so high expectations going into this one.
2Encoffination
We Proclaim Your Death O' Lord

The slowest band in the world are back!
3Father Befouled
Holy Rotten Blood

The world's premier imitation-Incantation are back!
4Full of Hell
Trumpeting Ecstasy

I've actually never really listened to these guys despite always being interested, so I think I'll give this one a whirl.
5Óreiða
Óreiða

The third bigger name Icelandic black metal release of the year that hopefully lives up to the hype the scene has generated the last few years.
6The National
I Am Easy to Find

I am not a huge The National fan, but they've steadily be growing on me the last few months. Reviews make me feel like I will love this, so I can't wait to jam.
7Slipknot
We Are Not Your Kind

I'm gonna try and relisten to the new single? I've heard it once, and it's not even that it's bad, it just sounds WAYYYYY to much like everything they've released since 2008, using that same off-kilter riffing style and militant drum beat. I don't know, hopefully it grows on me.
