North's new album

So after a long year of pretty constant recording, mixing, redoing, redoing, redoing, polishing, deleting, redoing, and finally feeling good about where it ended up, my fourth album is here. As always it's free, so listen away and download it or whatever you want. I don't even know how to describe my music anymore. I guess it's electronica/folk with lots of field recordings and some singing sometimes. It's music that I make because I feel it somewhere. Enjoy. https://stampedetotimberline.bandcamp.com/album/empty-homes
1Stampede to Timberline
Empty Homes

This is the new beast. I pulled a ton of influences from sources like Tim Hecker, but also kept it pretty mixed in there with traditional folk music instrumentation. I used a lot of my acoustic instruments, including a few native to places like Peru. I also used tons of field recordings and samples, as well as a couple tracks with singing. So this one is pretty diverse. I'm happy with it.
2Stampede to Timberline
a Sad Song in a Major Key

Album number 3. I released this about a year ago. It is heavily reliant on tape loops and a lot of acoustic-electric experimentation.
3Stampede to Timberline
You Were my Coldest Season

Album number 2. This one will always be special to me. It's a pretty sleepy folk album with some heavily saturated electronica and ambient present as well. I recorded it all on a field recorder.
4Stampede to Timberline
Tribulation

Album number 1. I've come a long way since this one. I recorded it all on an old MP3 player when I was 18. It's crazy how time flies.
