03.26.19 | I do live in Kalamazoo. And it may be more widely distributed now, but Oberon Day is bigger than ever in kzoo. The popular donut place in town makes festive Oberon donuts all week, people take the day off work and hang out at Bell's all day, etc. Lotsa fun |

They recently stopped distributing all Bells where I live until further notice due to some issues with our local distributor that they had a contract with. Sucks, cause Two Hearted is an old standby, and i'm a big fan of the Kalamazoo stout as well |

03.27.19 | Oberon day in Kzoo sounds like a blast. I was talking about Michigan outside of Kzoo, where I feel like it peaked a few years ago. Now people are excited but it doesn't have the same energy here in GR anyway. Plus Founders is here and for some reason they don't really like each other so maybe that's part of it. |

03.27.19 | Founders is pretty incredible, and while I prefer it to Bells, Bells is OG. Ballast Point is good, but came in hot trying to sell their six packs of Sculpin for around $17-18 when they first hit our shelves, but now they're back to a more modest $12-13. The Sculpin Grapefruit IPA is a very good beer, no doubt. They recently opened a Stone distribution center/brewery in Richmond where I live, and now they are trying to market it as "local" but it's like GTFO and go back to Cali BRAH, amirite? |
