Top Ten Muse Songs..... Again!

I did a list of Muse's top ten songs before, but now i've listened to more of the band, and decided to revamp it. First off here are some of the runners up: - Stockholme Syndrome (still just cant get into this one) - Take A Bow (works as in intro, but too electro for my tastes) - The Groove (fantastic song, every Muse fan should listen to it, but not quite top ten). Anyway, onto the list!
1Muse
Bliss

Still my number one Muse song. Im not sure why I love this one so much, but I just find it amazing. The synth arpeggios, the emotional vocal performance, the fantastic wall of guitars and drums and bass at the beggining...... its all just so fantastic.

New Born

One of the Muse's best bass riffs (and, heck, one of the best bass riffs EVER as far as im concerned), coupled with a fantastic melody and piano intro really make this Muse's best album opener, and one of their best songs.
3Map of The Problematique

This one has certainly grown on me since I first heard it, through headphones Map is a truly amazing experience. Props to Rich Costey for the excellent production of this one.
4Falling Away With You

Most people seem to hate this song, but I find that it is one of the bands best. Great melody, and a really nice understated acoustic riff from Matt here. And the bass line in the chorus is just awesome.
5Knights of Cydonia

This is probably one of the only songs where Muse has a sense of humour, and they pull it off perfectly. From the western inspired riff, to the trumpets in the intro, to Matts fantastic acapella breakdown, Knights is a great, epic album closer.
6Citizen Erased

Muses most epic song, Citizen Erased features the best breakdown in the bands catalog, as well as some of the best song structuring. The song moves through several different parts, from the rocking (the climactic bass/guitar riff and solo) to the more understated (the second verse) before finally arriving at its soft piano outro. An amazing song.
7Sing For Absolution

I dont know why, but I just love this song. The pianos, the fantastic guitar breakdown, and the amazing ending just make this one of my favourites.
8Glorious

One of the bands best b-sides, Glorious definately should have been included on BHaR. Its epic, with soaring melodies and a great synth intro. I still dont get how this never made it to an album.
