JLR2DEG 01.23.19	@Gmork89 - I am listening to the Angst album as we speak. I have never heard of Todtgelichter before and I must admit that this album caught me by surprise. I love the mix of styles as well as the combination of the throaty screams and the clean female vocals. Thanks for the rec.

I thought they would be more traditional black metal which I do not enjoy as much. I need to broaden my horizons. : )

OldCrime 01.24.19	Since the pool seems to be low, these are a couple of "blackened" female fronted Australian bands that some folks enjoy. Pagan - Black Wash (blackened pop punk/rock) High Tension - Purge (like a less good Oathbreaker)

JLR2DEG 07.14.19	I just added the EP Fomalhaut by Brazilian one woman band Entardecer. Her other EP's (Lethargy and Wind) are pretty great too. It is so hard to find female fronted artists in the blackgaze and atmospheric black metal categories.
crystaldeer 07.30.19	Lethian Dreams = doomy blackgaze (Red Silence Lodge and Season of Raven words have only the lady on vocals, other albums include the dude doing growls as well) Les Silhouettes = blackgaze influenced instrumental post-rock, one lady band Wishfield = indie influenced blackgaze, lady is only vocalist Ambersmoke = blackgazey lo-fi, one woman band Haunted = raw blackgaze, one woman band Gedanken toten Lebens = atmospheric black metal, one woman band Beautiful Nature = synthy blackgaze, one woman band Coldnight = lo-fi atmospheric black metal Bands with a woman as a co-vocalist: Trautonist, Archivist, Asthenia (their album Nucleation), Sojourner, Mavrodoxa My Purest Heart For You might be a woman, they only have a woman as their bandcamp picture and I can't find any other info on them. Anesmwythder is a trans woman I know of 4 blackgaze bands that have non-binary singers, but I'm not trying to out them
