Ah. Shureddur.
Fuck off Krang.
big fan of most of these guys but honestly necrophagist leads put me to sleep
in terms of modern shred people i prefer Brandon Ellis from The Black Dahlia Murder/Arsis or Dan Mongrain from Martyr/Voivod
I love Dave Murray's leads so much because he can shred without showing off
No Malmsteen or Becker?
Malmsteen and Becker
I'd also add Vinnie Moore and Andy Timmons - That Was Then, This Is Now which is brilliant.
Also needs Patrick Rondat tbh
Nice pick. James Byrd is also an underrated guitarist; Atlantis Rising and Crimes of Virtuosity.
Abs Love Malmsteen & Becker but somehow cant do repeated listens to them.
Patrick Rondat is pretty derivative IMHO.
Adrian Smith over Dave Murray all day long.
If you think Rondat is derivative, then I don't know why you'd even have Alexi Laiho on here.
No Patrick Rondat, no party, his first works may be derivative, but he more than compensated for them with Amphibia.
