renegadestrings: Disappointments

renegadestrings 10.21.08	1. STP and GNR together?! coulda been awesome... instead we got a few decent songs and a whole hell of alotta filler 2. This band has always been an underdog band for me since I purchased To the Pain and Recoil. This album, however, is just pathetic and could very well spell doom for the group. 3. the bleh 4. yeah i went through that phase where i thought i was a 'tough guy' and fell victim to this shit album. now i'm out of that phase and i kick ass on a regular basis as part of my nature, which gives me clarity into just how mediocre this albumis. lyrics are god awful, guitars are pretty very good, vocals suck hard. 5. i really really wanted to like this album. but to be honest, it can't hold my attention past the first 6 tracks, which are all very good songs. there is some decent stuff towards the end like 11/11 and Paris Arm, but overall, very boring listen. maybe if i got high i'd like it alot more
BallsToTheWall 10.21.08	Nonpoint died some time ago. They've had their fun in 2004 with Recoil being the best thing they wrote as well as In The Air Tonight being played critically at the Wolrd Series commericals. I lvoe Development and Statement but they really declined after Recoil. 4. Get Motograter man, where the singer from FFDP is originally from. Good stuff.

renegadestrings 10.21.08	i don't hate 3, i just thought i was really disappointing. i really enjoyed the song Shade Tree Mechanics... but the album as a whole is just kinda boring
