The little guys.....
Thou taking over peoples EP lists. Acoustic grunge record. WTF?
O God who avenges, shine forth. Rise up, Judge of
Utter annihilation by The Body. Short and pulverising.
Borderline Album/EP . NJ Latino Hip Hop. Crimeapples coming up.
Some of the most consistently dirty, grimy, guttural black metal out there.
|16||Dark Buddha Rising|
One of my favourite bands. Finnish psychedelic,trippy, ritual 'doom'. Second track is more of the psych. First more of the heavy. I Can't describe how psyched I am for the Oranssi Pazuzu collab release next year, oh man.
Streams Of Thought, Vol. 2
Didn't enjoy it as much as the first but still Black Thought being a don next to Salaam Remmi beats this time. One of the greatest.
The House Primordial
Thou doing some low, experimental dirty noise around their trademark sludge. This track is the one for me....
|13||Primitive Man / Unearthly Trance|
I make no apologies for loving PM. One of the heaviest things I ever saw live. I get they're a love or hate band. Im the former. The Unearthly Trance side is fantastic too.
Contemporary jazz piano master. Stunning as always.
The darkest MC you never heard of.
Features from the Almighty Conway,Earl and Roc. Uncle Al killing it as always.
90s Metalcore Legends. The Confessor of Hardcore. The Starkweather 20 plus minute track is phenomenal.
|8||H E X|
Just found out this is actually an album. Its just over 30 mins so Im putting it in anyway. It Is an album though.
Proggy, heavy, fantastic, dark wave.
Streams of Thought, Vol. 1
Enjoyed this more than the second EP probably because I enjoyed 9th Wonders beats more. Black Thought is ALWAYS going to be on point regardless.
We Can't Be That Far From The Beginning
Experimental Ambient. Wasn't a huge fan of the last record. This I loved. Massively different though. Sounds like a comedown after being awake for a week.
Crust, D-beat Legends with an almighty come back out of nowhere.
A suffocating doom monster and my favourite of the two by Crawl but also a great new slower tempo Leviathan track.
Baton Rouge's Prolific Sexy Sludge Kings. That Crowbar cover though...
Come on now. You should know.
Wonderful, fierce Canadian Black Metal on Profound Law. One of my fave BM releases all year.
