Users' Top 10 of 2018 Predictions

So I recently spent a little bit counting 5's and 4.5's from well-received and well-known bands on Sputnik and I just wanted to know if you had thoughts on what this would look like. This is also heavily taking into consideration what campaigns and votes I saw on the Users' Ballot Thread before it got taken down. One last thing, I'll go ahead and apologize for the overuse of the word "seem" here, but since all of this is really speculative, I thought it'd be appropriate to emphasize the phrase. Agree? Disagree? Let me know!
10The Ocean
Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic

This could easily go to Sister Cities by The Wonder Years, but The Ocean was all over that Ballot's Thread last time I checked. Since it seems to have some of the weaker voting stats out of the entries on this list, however, it probably peaks at 10.
9IDLES
Joy as an Act of Resistance

Major hype on release along with seemingly good voting stats and ballot representation keeps this one alive and well.
8Foxing
Nearer My God

[2]
7Car Seat Headrest
Twin Fantasy (Face to Face)

Who said remakes couldn't represent (probably the mods but I'll take the L if this is disqualified)?
6Deafheaven
Ordinary Corrupt Human Love

A wide array of audiences, unique appeal, and massive exposure confirm Deafheaven as a serious contender here.
5Night Verses
From the Gallery of Sleep

The breakout band not named Rolo Tomassi seemed to do excellent on ballot representation and voting numbers, making it squeak its way into the top 5.
4Kids See Ghosts
Kids See Ghosts

Missing out on the Staff's Top 50 will surely mean huge redemption here, right?
3mewithoutYou
[Untitled]

As much as I think this album deserves the top spot, its popularity and voting stats just don't have quite the impact that the top two above it do.
2Daughters
You Won't Get What You Want

For this one, I don't expect much change in placement from the Staff's list, if any at all.
1Rolo Tomassi
Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It

Daughters seemed to have the better voting stats, but this album appeared too often and too high on people's ballots to not take the top spot. Plus, for coincidence, Brand New's Science Fiction got #11 on the Staff's List and got #1 on the Users' List last year. Time Will Die... was #11 on the Staff's List this year, so fate might have it as the Users' #1 album of 2018.
