| Check My Online Zine
So, in my off-time from making lists and shitposting here, a group of friends and I publish a monthly online zine called Yer Scene! We focus very heavily on our various local scenes and DIY culture in general. We have content coming from all over the world, and aesthetically it's very reminiscent of the classic zines of yesteryear. We release a new issue every month, and our 13 (!!!) was premiered this morning, and it's honestly one of our best! I got the chance to interview the founder/owner of one of my favorite current labels Pacific Threnodies, we have an article on queerness in the Boston DIY scene, a segment on a day in the life of a touring musician, and so much more (that's not even mentioning the beautiful art and photography strewn throughout it). If you're interested in giving it a gander, check the comments! Thanks! | 1 | | Malfet The Snaking Path | 2 | | Botfly Enemies of the World | 3 | | Kids Luv Cops James Skips Graduation Practice | |

11.01.18 | I’ve waited an age for a piece on queerness in the Boston DIY scene. Finally someone to tell me the best way to install tile installation while getting fisted.

11.01.18 | props, this looks cool. not my cup of tea taste-wise but i heavily respect what you're doing, local small-scale indie music deserves more coverage. appreciate that there's poetry + illustrations as well as the regular writing. gj, keep it up!! | Chortles
11.01.18 | ^^seconded. this is really well put together! it's good to see stuff like this around, nice work | TheSpirit
11.01.18 | Thank you both! We really appreciate that! Music-wise we don't really have a focus, this issue is very heavily punk-oriented but maybe in some other issues you could find some stuff more suited to your tastes! Still thank you for the compliment. The look is very important to us -- we want to try and make it look "dated" in a sense because we feel it really evokes that nostalgic feel of handwritten/constructed zines.
Anyway, thank you for the kind words :* | Mythodea
11.01.18 | great work. I'll be checking this slowly and will probably have more to say over time. I had a similar idea for promoting local bands, but in a video-format. I'm still a year away from realizing the idea, but I'm taking notes from you guys. Good work. | XingKing
