| 5 Best EPs of the Decade
These are (in my opinion) the five best EPs of the 2010s. There is still time left in the decade so it is possible for a better EP to come out but it would take a lot to sway my opinion. Give me EP recommendations because honestly 4 and 5 aren’t the best and they could be changed easily. Other than how everything on This Addiction pales in comparison to Fine, Alkaline Trio’s 2013 album “My Shame Is True” definitely has the biggest difference in quality between songs done by bassist Dan Andriano and the songs done by Matt Skiba, the guitarist. In this case, every single song done by Dan is far better than the songs done by Matt, except for maybe the first two tracks of the album, which are some of the best tracks off of said album alongside all four of Dan’s songs. Released subsequently with the LP, EP “Broken Wing” contains B-Sides from the album itself, which is actually quite unfortunate that they didn’t make it onto the album considering that every single track is phenomenal. Especially the only song done by Matt, “Pocket Knife,” which is so much better than any of the Matt songs on “My Shame Is True.” Because of how good every single one of Dan’s tracks are on the LP, it is really good to get three more tracks done by him as well as an excellent song by Matt. | |
