Was supposed to see 888 (with SCR as their opening act) at the Mercury Lounge in NYC this coming Saturday, but according to their website, they've cancelled that gig and an Albany gig from the night before. Bastards! I've been a little underwhelmed by their new EP, but I was looking forward to hearing them play "Critical Mistakes". | | 1 |  | 888

09.07.18 | Don't know if they had a band emergency, or just weren't selling well enough to make it worth their while to come to the Northeast for two shows. They're not scheduled again until later in the month in Texas. | oldsoul

09.14.18 | Took me way too much work to get a refund to this show. Apparently SCR still played, so you had to let them know you wanted a refund. (Nothing against SCR, but I bought the ticket to see 888). And the ticket agency made it difficult to get ahold of them to let them know you wanted the refund. Bad on Mercury Lounge for trying to pull a bait and switch like that. |
