07.27.18 | Yeah I'm 15. 16 in September. I used to love the lyrics to An Island because the thought of taking someone I disliked and putting them on a remote island was awesome at the time. The lyrics aren't bad but my 11 year old self would roar that shit and now I cringe hard. Still bangs though. La Gargola makes me think of Halo 4 and vice versa. Hunter Eats Hunter, Gunman, Jawbreaker, ONE OCEAN. Awesome album but I think Hats Off is their best. Shame none of that is here, especially Revenge and Prima Donna :[ |

07.27.18 | damn sweet i turned 17 in May. Yea dude, an island has weird lyrics but most of the songs do, though ive always appreciated pete's more unique approach to writing lyrics, pretty abstract or political stuff.
anyway yea, la gargolas probably my favourite after WWN, but i could never get into HOTTB that much unfortunately, though the ones you mentioned are great, and so are Envy and The Meddler. |
