07.25.18 | I gotta say, I was pretty surprised by the quality of the output for the year. I can't really say there were any duds aside from the bottom few and it's hard to really count Pumpkin and Pike since they're so separate from his regular material anyway. |

03.19.23 | Just saw that I fucked up the title on this one from so long ago, lol. It should say Pikes 11-41. |

03.19.23 | Thanks, no probs man. If you're interested I'd take a stab at anything that's in the top ten of my lists, and see how they latch onto you. I used to rank his mellower chill stuff a lot higher in these older lists because it felt like it brought balance and didn't feel as stale or bland compared to the swaths of riffage that can blend into one frequently back then. Now he's sort of gotten a better hand of the two imo, but the most important thing is to try NOT to feel intimidated by how much there is, and just take it at your own pace. The frequency to which you'll be able to listen to more and more at a time will increase naturally and it kind of opens up into this entire BH universe that is one of its own, really. I'm surprised/amazed at the amount of quality tunes that can be found to exist here even though the method must be arbitrarily the same throughout, it still lends itself to a gratifying listen more often than not comparatively. |

03.19.23 | I appreciate it! Make sure to comment back on this or any of the others with your own findings if you happen to give any of these years a go. I wonder how I may feel about these rankings if I were to revisit now that quite a bit of time has passed- but it'd always be great to get fresh new ears in the mix as well! |
