SymbolicInTime
07.18.18 | All top 3 tracks are a 4 or above in quality |
Brontosaurus
07.18.18 | I'm surprised you have horizons and killing.. 1 and 2 yet Reverence sounds nothing like those albums and it sits at number 3, ahead of deep blue and atlas. Why the hate for deep blue and atlas? I prefer those albums to horizons even sometimes |
Brontosaurus
07.18.18 | also sorry man but reverance just flat out sucks. i hate that album and the stupid pirate/rap vocals winston does |
SymbolicInTime
07.18.18 | Both Atlas and Deep blue have their high points, like my top three tracks for each. However, I just don’t find much of anything outside of those tracks memorable or interesting. Their songwriting was at it’s best on KWAS imo, with a slight downgrade on Horizons. Atlas and Deep Blue just felt like even further regressions too me |
SymbolicInTime
07.18.18 | I love the pirate-like vocals on reverence haha can’t even lie |
Brontosaurus
07.18.18 | all right i see what you mean. and as far as those vocals on reverance do you man. |
Davyd120
07.18.18 | Deep Blue is the worst? Reverence at third? Why? |
Groundking
07.18.18 | Horizons > KWAS > IRE > Atlas > Deep Blue > Reverence |
SteakByrnes
07.18.18 | Horizons > KWAS > Deep Blue > Atlas
And that's all that matters |
SOYMILKPURRP
07.18.18 | yikes lmao |
Davyd120
07.18.18 | KWAS>DP>Horizons>Atlas>>Ire>>>>>Reverence |
SymbolicInTime
07.18.18 | @Davyd explained why Deep blue is so low already but Reverence is as high as it is because it’s got an atmosphere and vibe I just love. Kind of a creepy nautical feel. Like a haunted shipwreck. That mixed with several bursts of something I can most relate to being God of War. Idk it’s unique imo and slays pretty hard |
SteakByrnes
07.18.18 | This is probably the only band where I have one of their albums 5'd and another 1'd |
Pheromone
07.18.18 | The River & Carrion are genuinely sick songs gd picks |
Sinternet
07.18.18 | terrible ranking
1>6>2>5 forget the rest |
SymbolicInTime
07.19.18 | Reverence and Ire slap hard as fuck 🤷🏻♂️ Can’t help it |
SymbolicInTime
07.19.18 | I even relistened to everything AGAIN after going through their discog just to make sure my opinion didn’t change on any of them with their other material so fresh in my head but nope |
SteakByrnes
07.19.18 | Ire and Reverence are such dog shit |
Snake.
07.19.18 | how common is parkway drive bc there's one in the town right next to mine |
SymbolicInTime
07.19.18 | I honestly just feel like I’m in an alternate universe when it comes to those albums. I just don’t get the hate at all other than blaming it on opinions haha
We still both agree KWAS and Horizons slay |
calmrose
07.19.18 | @Snake. there's one near where I live also haha |
SteakByrnes
07.19.18 | All I know is that there is at least one in Australia because that's how they got the name |
soulxstlr
07.19.18 | Deep Blue at 6? Blasphemy. |
calmrose
07.19.18 | yeah, Deep Blue is automatically above 3 and 4 because of that RETRACE THE STTTTEEEEEEEPPPPPSSSSSS breakdown alone |
SteakByrnes
07.19.18 | Unrest bangs hard agreed |
SymbolicInTime
07.19.18 | Unrest was okay lol kinda meh imo |
joshieboy
07.19.18 | Can't agree with you here Wonder. KWAS and Horizons are tied for first. Deep Blue, Atlas, Ire, Reverence. So my order is pretty much the chronological order they were released ha. |
SymbolicInTime
07.19.18 | That’s a-okay joshieboy, I definitely don’t expect anyone at all to agree with this ranking haha |
joshieboy
07.19.18 | Deep Blue is harsh to be last. Some absolute bangers on there. Karma's video is still the best video they've done. Sums them up so well. |
KenboSlice
07.19.18 | Trash. How anyone can put Ire and Reverence higher than Atlas and Deep Blue is whack. |
SteakByrnes
07.19.18 | Karma's video is so fucking dope |
SymbolicInTime
07.19.18 | I just got so bored of their straight metalcore sound by Deep Blue and Atlas. It just lost a lot of its creativity to me after Horizons. I can’t help it. Neither of those albums in whole are interesting enough to be above Ire and Reverence, both of which were a breathe of fresh air for me. |
JeetJeet
07.19.18 | Lmfaooooooo ok seriously. Where's the real list? |
KenboSlice
07.19.18 | Do you really think Ire and Reverence are creative? |
SymbolicInTime
07.19.18 | Jeet it’s right here yo. Kenbo not necessarily creative, but just more fun to straight up jam to. |
SteakByrnes
07.19.18 | The real list wouldn't even have Ire or Reverence on it |
SymbolicInTime
07.19.18 | Now we talking Darius I like it |
JeetJeet
07.19.18 | 1,2, & 6 are the only good PWD albums. The rest range from being incredibly boring to hot garbage. |
JeetJeet
07.19.18 | Atlas is the cure for insomnia. |
Groundking
07.19.18 | Ire is an amazing album, ya'll are silly. |
SteakByrnes
07.19.18 | Ire is so fucking wack lol |
SymbolicInTime
07.19.18 | Wacktastic |
SymbolicInTime
07.19.18 | Fractures off Ire is within my Top 10 Parkway songs |
joshieboy
07.19.18 | Ire grew on me over time. |
sempiturtle
07.19.18 | 4 is 1 for me too sorry Steak lmao.
4 > 5 > 2 > 1 > 3 > 6 |
AtomicWaste
07.19.18 | Deep Blue is so good but gets so much hate.
"1,2, & 6 are the only good PWD albums. The rest range from being incredibly boring to hot garbage."[2] |
SymbolicInTime
07.19.18 | Wow surprised to see any Ire appreciation. Love it though. That album was my biggest shocker when going through their discog. Wasn’t expecting to like it at all |
SteakByrnes
07.19.18 | Well I'm used to your shit takes Semp lol |
SteakByrnes
07.19.18 | no |
SymbolicInTime
07.19.18 | Okay I thought my ranking was set but I’ve been jamming Reverence and Ire nonstop since I posted this and they just keep growing on me. Might have to update this later not sure yet |
SteakByrnes
07.19.18 | ew |
SymbolicInTime
07.19.18 | Alright. I’ve had enough Parkway Drive for a while. Bumped Horizons .1, swapped Reverence and Ire, bumped Ire .3 |
24gadjet
07.20.18 | parkway ranked should literally be their discog chronologically but swap killing with horizons for top spot |
24gadjet
07.20.18 | also what the fresh fug are these top tracks |
SymbolicInTime
07.20.18 | My opinion is pretty set on 5 and 6. The only thing that might change at this point is liking Ire more |
SymbolicInTime
07.20.18 | What’s wrong with the top tracks gadjet? |
SteakByrnes
07.20.18 | parkway ranked should literally be their discog chronologically but swap killing with horizons for top spot [2] |
joshieboy
07.20.18 | Chronological order for the rankings agreed |
Dedicated1
11.15.18 | As a huge fanboy, I don't have any real issues with the rankings here.
Ire is super underrated. Then again, so is Atlas.
Deep Blue is classic and all, but the recording hasn't aged well compared to the rest of their discography.
Also, huge props for your top track off Ire. Fractures is one of their most underrated songs. Amazed they never play it live. |
MillionDead
11.15.18 | Can every album be number 6? |
