Superman Revenge Squad - There's Nothing More Frightening Than The Passing of Time ND2 and SRS have the same singer/guitarist but ND2 is Lo-Fi British Emo with drums and SRS is acoustic with similar styled lyrics. Both are rambly and the singer is so full of personality, it's great.

LunaticSoul 07.08.18	Green Carnation-s Light of Day, Day of Darkness is a 60min long track lamentation of a father that sees her daughter die I-d add also We Lost the Sea, Departure Songs / singer committed suicide shortly after Pain of Salvation's Remedy Lane is pretty depressing too, concept is all about estrangement, loss of love, bleak childhoods and suicide tentatives.. so... Nine Inch Nails's old stuff is also depressing and missing. I'd add also Type O Negative some great recs, from deathconsciousness to Elliot Smith

But the music isn't depressive imo.
