Hawks 06.29.18	Don’t see any 5’s coming this year but I have a handful of 4.5’s so far. Def a solid year but not on the level of 2016 or 2017. 8 and 9 are both towards the top of this year for me.

SymbolicInTime 06.29.18	I’ve only rated 6 new releases this year but Dance Gavin Dance was my favorite. Only other things I’ve checked this year is Kanye, KSG, Pusha T, Nas, and State Champs. Tropical fuck storm would also prob be a 4.5 but never listened to it enough to decide
RippingCorpse1986 06.29.18	I guess I'm in the same boat as TheWonderSoFar. I haven't heard a lot of new releases this year, mainly due to laziness tbh. Been jamming The Crown's Cobra Speed Venom a lot lately, that album crushes skulls. Also new Dead Shape Figure. Amorphis' Queen of Time would also probably be a 4.5, I need to hear it a couple of times more before I decide if I want to bump my rating. DGD's ArSe (hehehe) is amazing and fun as hell, but I don't see it as an AOTY contender tbh. I'm still pretty addicted to the album though.
