No Expletives! A Rec Competition Round 6

Each round I'll pick a genre and will take one song rec. The song cannot contain any profanity, curses, swears etc...

SEMI FINAL ROUND:
So for this round I want to shake things up a bit. Each of you must pick one album I have 5'd in my ratings. This album you choose will be your guideline as I want all of you to pick one album with the EXACT same genre tags as the album of mine you chose. THEN pick 2 songs from that album (could be any 2 songs) for me to listen to. ALSO no album can be repeated by any of you or contain a genre tag from your highest rated genre tag in your own pie chart (for example I wouldn't be able to pick one with Post Hardcore in it).

Cherry Life and Danger Signs!
Cherry Life has them bass grooves, that's for sure. That's not too mention this melody is very memorable I could already here it repeating in the back of brain. There's also some sweet twists and turns with the horn bit towards the end of the track. Then comes Danger Signs with its oddly mixed vocals, reggae oriented drum beat, more of those unexpected horns, and just a real mashup of some unexpected sounds that somehow come together marvelously.
Cherry Life: 4.3
Danger Signs!: 4.2
TOTAL: 4.3

The Facts About Jimmy and Sunny Came Home
OH SHIT I saw Sunny Came Home and wondered if it was the one I had heard, didn't know who sang this and it's most definitely a goodie, it's been a long ass time since I'd heard it though so this was a nice refresher. The other track was a more mellow outing and I also dug it nonetheless but not quite as much as Sunny. Still, I can't deny how much I love the song I had heard awhile back.
The Facts About Jimmy: 4
Sunny Came Home:5
TOTAL: 4.5/5

Disappearing Syndrome and Cosmic Narcissism
OH FUCK the way this starts off I'm in love from the get go. The chug starts off so deceiving then BAM, you are slammed with an onslaught of spastic guitar melodies, pounding drums and some high pitch soaring vocals. and the bass riffs on this thing HOT DAMN. Dissappearing Syndrome sets quite the tone that's for sure. ANDDDD Cosmic Narcissism just smacks your in the face with crazy right out of the get go only to pull back and show the more reserved side of the band's spectrum. Showing off their ability to switch sounds and then just playing teeter totter between both the craziness and melody.
Disappearing Syndrome: 5
Cosmic Narcissism: 5
TOTAL: 5 oh man I gotta jam this album immediately...

A Rush of Blood and The Boon
Had no idea where this was going at any point in the track but in the BEST way possible, this was just downright gnarly. Honestly at a loss for words yet again brainmelter... this just TEARS FACE and also has atmosphere? and multiple elements that somehow work? I don't even know. I'm pleased. Who knew you could mix two genres that tend to have short track lengths, add various genre influences and still hold my attention for both 10 minutes and 5 minutes respectively.
A Rush of Blood: 4.7
The Boon: 4.8
TOTAL: 4.8/5
