Awake
This one's a mixed bag and was always pretty weird. There's this dark, gloomy, twisted atmosphere to the album which gives it a pretty distinct sound - which is a pretty big change compared to their last album who had a very clear, very bright tone to it. It's not their best album, but is still a pretty good collection of songs and contains some of the finest moments in Dream Theater's history. My favorite is the immortal Scarred - what a weird and fantastic song.
Far Beyond Driven and Youthanasia contain some great tracks but are ultimately not that memrable, and I guess Tales From The Thousand Lakes is also not bad. | | 2 |  | Green Day

Pretty good album for its genre. I don't have a lot to say since I'm not that big of a fan of that genre. | | 3 |  | Machine Head
