Assemblage: Hypnotize/Mezmerize

Assemblage 05.27.18	I always preferred Hypnotize over Mezmerize but I feel like this evens it out a little bit in my eyes. I know 20 tracks is kinda long trying to combine them into one list but it definitely feels like a complete package.
kalkwiese 05.27.18	Vicinity of Obscenity was always a kina favourite of mine tbh. Some trimming is needed though, both of these albums are very good. I think I prefer listening to them back to back though

RippingCorpse1986 05.27.18	Tentative is very underrated imo. I always thought that Soldier Side was a kind of swansong for the band, as if they already knew that they weren't going to record more studio albums so they made the song with that purpose in mind.

Assemblage 05.27.18	Yeah I agree with the Soldier Side sentiment. I saw on a lyrics page that someone said it could be interpreted as "soldiercide" also, which is fitting. Ideally it would be great if I could cut this to like 14 tracks or so, but there's always a skip button if it feels like it drags. The first half goes real good together.
Assemblage 05.27.18	Of the three I cut out I'd put in Kill Rock 'n Roll. I can only take so many banana terracotta pies man.

Assemblage 05.27.18	It almost seems like Hypnotize is more nostalgic than even their earlier albums which is weird. Maybe because it's just spun less in comparison and the others are listened to more regularly. I feel like the songs on Hypnotize are fuller though for the most part, in comparison to Mezmerize. But Mezmerize ends stronger.
Assemblage 05.27.18	Steal This Album! has a little bit of filler that knocks it down for me. If I had to rank them as of now, I'd say it'd be Toxicity S/T Hypnotize Steal This Album! Mezmerize
